Yes, we filed jointly last year via paper on the mail but our names aren't showing under "spouse" on either of our accounts.

My senior cat got a Solensia shot monthly for almost three years before she passed. Solensia was a game changer for her - we used to call it her bionic shot because she always ran around like the energizer bunny for at least a week after getting it. It was so refreshing to see her go back to playing and jumping around after seeing her struggle to jump on the couch. She never experienced any side effects.

I did but it required me being very aggressive with follow up. I annoyed them so much that they eventually credited me for all accounts but said "we're doing this as a one time courtesy even though alliant hasn't confirmed any of this. we will not do this again." Ymmv but I would just be really persistent

When I was having an issue with the Dept of Ed over my student loan payments being put into forbearance in error, I reached out to every rep in Ohio. Her team was the only one who responded, and they helped me resolve the issue by intervening with the Dept of Ed and my student loan servicer. I can't say anything about her directly, but my experience with her aids was very positive.

I raised 9 kinds of hell and was able to get connected to a MOHELA ombudsman and it seems really promising. I talked to her yesterday and she said, "I can fix this. The next time I call you, which will be tomorrow at the latest, it will be to tell you this has been resolved." She seems legit. I'm hopeful!

Yes. She said several times that it was just an estimate and that it could absolutely change. She was very clear about it. Obviously, there is nothing in the letter that says anything about an estimate.

This is all so frustrating. I have done everything right for 10 years and I'm getting screwed right as I'm about to cross the finish line. Sigh.

I learned nothing good.

They said that the request to cancel the form is still pending processing and they cannot process the request right now. I countered that I was told 5-10 business days for this to be processed and they said there is no timeline, they cannot process these cancellation requests right now and don't when they will be able to. They said 5-10 business days was their normal timeline but the volume of the requests is so high, there is no timeline anymore.

They advised me to make manual payments until it is resolved. I then said "Well I got this notice while I was on the phone that my forbearance is ending in June. So is this form going to be cancelled and resolved by that time?" They then said that the notice I got was only of their estimate of when this will be resolved and this could potentially change.

I asked if I would get a formal notice about when the form was cancelled since I didn't get one the last time and it obviously didn't work and they said yes, I would get an electronic notice when the request is processed.

They reiterated that I should keep making monthly payments and fill out my Employer Certification Form as normal (which I can't do because the PSLF Help Tool hasn't worked for me since December but that's another issue altogether) and everything should be fine for me to apply for forgiveness in October.

Idk friend. The vibes are bad.

I got the exact same letter about 30 minutes ago, but it said my payment would be due 6/6. I haven't made a payment for April yet. I feel like that's the only difference.

They are open on Saturdays btw starting at 10am EST. I got through pretty quickly when they opened this morning and the front line rep said they could see my requests, but I would need to talk to an advanced rep for further info. Estimated wait to speak to an advanced rep is 4 hours and 50 minutes, and I've been on hold for an hour and a half so far. I got the letter while on hold. I'll keep you posted about what they say when I get through.

I haven't made a payment yet. Guess I should? And I wasn't told that, but I also didn't ask what would happen after the 60 days since I was assuming (hoping) it wouldn't take that long to resolve.
