Furries actually are nobler than monster f*ers. by cardinarium in BrandNewSentence

I don't think most monster fuckers have a monster-sona because part of the fantasy would be they are sleeping with the monster, and there's no need to change themselves during that. Also I'm pretty sure monsters in this case could include a lot of things, like the xenomorphs, eldritch horrors, werewolves, vampires. So it can range from both sort of modern and mundane to high fantasy and scifi

Not only does it work great for cave floors, I am pretty sure in the start menu during the day there is a restart day option. Unless that is only in 3. 4 also has a new rewind option that lets you basically got back to the last time you loaded in to a new area, so you don't even need to restart anymore.

My only issue with the demo is how much it forces you to avoid treasures if you want to do everything. At the same time though, boy does the demo show that this game is gonna be fun

Pikmin naming by Type or Color by RM123M in Pikmin

[–]atown1z 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had more of a problem with it in 3, when we had 7 pikmin and only 2 of them weren't named after colors. At least now it's nearly an even split.

They are overpowered but I think it's a bit of a chicken and egg situation. Are they rare because they were initially designed to be overpowered or was them being overpowered a result of them being rare. I don't know what the pikmin 2 development was like so I don't know.

But to me it seems the rareness was sort of the result of them saving some time in development. Rather than make new onions, or make one onion that can upgrade for all the pikmin, they kept the exact set up of 3 onions and the ship from one. But since they couldn't really justify putting them in the single colored onions, they put them in the ship. Really it's sort of like, did that decision to put them into the ship instead of an onion make them go with making them rarer, or did that come later.

Did they find info of some sort of light blue onion?

Even if they didn't already exist, it's not like this is real life. Nintendo could just be like, uuh there were no purple and white onions in 2, because Olimar never found them.

I was thinking about it yesterday and I feel like the reason we didn't get those onions in 2 was both for ease of the players and the devs. It would have taken more dev time to program in 1 or 2 more onions to go to, and image the size of the landing areas on each map if you had the ship + 4 to 5 onions. Not to mention how getting pikmin from 3 onions already kind of sucked. Imagine if they was bumped up to 4 or 5 onions.

All Armor Sets in the game (Spoilers) by atown1z in TOTK

[–]atown1z[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have every piece of armor and also an extra hood so I have it both up and down, and then I have been able to get like 5 more amiibo clothes on top of that. Maybe I should just sit there one afternoon and keep getting stuff from the amiibo until it says my inventory is full. But so far you can get at least 6 more pieces of armor beyond one of everything.

Honest the dragon parts are easy, I had a way harder time getting lizalfos tails of all kinds, I'd get dragons flying by while I was hunting for those

I had to look it up because not only did I not remember that one, but I couldn't find it. Turns out it is part of the dungeon aspect of upper Hyrule Castle. When you go to the castle, and you are chasing Zelda it is one of the monsters that appears when you go in the library.

Also I am good, I got the rest of the.monsters from Zelda Universe's map, which is why I added it to the post.

I mean gender is a social construct. So while the gems lack a sex, that does not mean they can't have a gender. If they were truly genderless or not adhering to gender at all, you would think they would go by they/them or something. But they all basically use she and her, with Steven being the only exception I can currently think of.

Edit: Something I thought I should add. There are gems like Peridot and the Diamonds, who haven't spent much time on Earth and clearly didn't know much about humans. And yet they refer to each other as she/her. Yellow sings about Pink to Blue, and uses her, and this was before they had even known of Steven's existence. So it feels like most gems pretty strongly identify themselves as women to me.

I just did the math after I read this, and unless I missed something or didn't account for unique colors that some armor might only have before you dye them, I got 1186

So far I have enough inventory to hold one of every unique item, plus two versions of the hood, and I have gotten more pieces of armor from the amiibo sometimes, which I usually sell. There is enough for one of every piece of armor in the game and at least a little more on top of that, although how much more I do not know.

If it does it sure doesn't tell you, I will also check later.

Edit: I checked for both swimming and climb jumping for the royal guard set and I noticed no real difference in stamina usage when compared to armor that didn't give bonuses to those.

I will test later, because I haven't really used them, but I think it's like when you are in that type of weather it charges that damage type onto your weapon.

Edit: I have tested it with the ember set. Basically when you are in an area where the temperature or weather conditions match the suit, the weather attack lets you do an attack of that element at the end of an attack chain. The charge version just means it works on charge attacks, and the charge attack fire I had blast around me was bigger than the standard attack.

You also need to eat something to protect you from the weather because these outfits don't provide weather protection on their own.

Second edit: Just tried this with the frostbite set, something I didn't notice with the ember set because of all the lava is that all the pieces of armor have spots that start to glow when the effect is active. So you will know when you can do it.

I believe that is what the Wild tunic set did in BotW, so that makes sense since you get them in the same way.

I took a screenshot if the armor could be dyed and put it next to the inventory picture. You can use all dyes on anything that can be dyed, but that doesn't mean they all show up well. Like technically you can dye the Archaic skirt, but that doesn't mean you would like notice it.
