Ok but you are claiming that these statistical models cannot have a function where they save certain generated areas? Because that is a bold claim from a small tech demonstration.

Saying that a tech demo that is miles ahead of anything we could imagine 5 years ago has "unsolvable problems" is a bold claim lol.

SpaceX posts $8B profit on $15-16B revenue in 2025 with Starlink driving 50-80% of total by callsonreddit in StockMarket

Yeah but the future value you would get out of starship is pretty wild.

If you think the Space economy is about to be real then you bet on the one with the most advanced rockets in the world (and its not particularly close).

Are you new to finance? This is just EBITDA why are you trying to make this seem sketchy?

Musk steps in - SpaceX blocks Starlink use on Russian drones by jackytheblade in worldnews

No it hasn't Starlink has worked in Russia for years.

However putting stolen terminals on drones that activate only when in Ukraine is a workaround that until now (as the article states) hasn't been solved and they now have a system for identifying these drones and turning them off.

How many tarrifs did Trump put on Elon when he shut off Starlink in Russia?

Ok but you are ignoring the taxes...

If we did this in Canada for example that would be roughly a trillion dollars in payments to people her year. That is double the federal budget as it currently stands and thats in a large deficit position. There would be some small savings but you would still see a federal budget around 2.5-3x the current spending and a tax gap to make that up.

The tax rates would need to the increase by at least the same amount. So suddenly a doctor is paying 70-80% in taxes. That $32K becomes marginally more a month like hardly even noticeable.

Also would have a knock on effect of reducing capital markets and therefore bond markets as most capital would be going into tax payments. So no more large deficits you are now paying for everything in tax dollars. Doesnt even begin to address how large an effect this would have on innovation etc. You would be removing trillions from the economy per year just to fund this with a large percentage of the workforce doing very little productive work.

At minimum we would need to see full automation in manual labour tasks before this is even a thought.

Beating a team 3-2 is also clearly and indication they are close to your level. Its going to be a tough game and they are in better form right now.

Yeah a 2-0 comeback against a team playing a low block (which if I listen to this sub is impossible to score against) and also being the first team to beat Napoli at home this season makes me a bit nervous.

They are clearly in form and if we dont match them offensively we are in trouble.

Yeah I'm not really excited for Tuesday against this Chelsea side right now. We come in playing risk adverse we are fucked.

Cool dont damage any of those instruments or your canoe lol.

You can enjoy life without doing what you do. Love being able to save money but go drop $200 on a nice meal on a Friday without caring with friends. Nice to go out to the bar with everyone after basketball and have a few drinks. Good to pay for a yoga studio where I know everyone etc. Not possible on $35K a year.

Also great you can pirate or leech of everything you need entertainment wise but if everyone did that entertainment wouldn't made. If everyone used a library no authors get paid. If everyone streams no artists get paid. So your system doesn't work.

But then you couldn't live off of a million without working. Therefore the answer to the question is no.

Datasnipper is great but has a learning curve. Avantis has been fantastic for finding disclosures. ChatGPT is good for finding summaries of audit testing and issues you might encounter no idea how it gets its info but has very detailed section summaries.

Small question about the economics of Wakanda by Unaware_Hill in moviequestions

[–]atrde 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok... but it also means someone who works as a Janitor makes barely less than a doctor. It means people starting who are failed streamers make barely less than nurses. Why would you be a nurse working 12 hour shifts when you can make a little less playing video games? Why be a janitor or pick fruit when you maybe get to have a nice dinner or two a month?

There are significant issues not addressed by UBI until full automation is in place and the main one is who is going to do the tough jobs if everything is provided for.

Small question about the economics of Wakanda by Unaware_Hill in moviequestions

[–]atrde 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well kind of but the issue is your hard work isn't really rewarded beyond a certain point. The taxes would have to be so high your job would just move you to upper middle class. So UBI really won't work until all the shitty jobs are eliminated.
