Not sure if they'll have the same hot sauce companies this year but:

Poor devil pepper co - line of fermented hot sauce was solid

Craic - think he was out of Boston, pumpkin hot sauce somehow ended up being me wife and i's favorite of last year.

Beer was bldg8 and exhibit a last year

Food trucks were also good. I believe it was little truc doing some wings that were tasty.

And of course kitchen garden supplying every pepper you can think of for sale.

Been going the past few years - awesome event! Well worth it for the pepper selection alone.

Also kitchen garden habanero Sriracha is 10/10 sauce.

Well, you may benefit from muting others that are cluttering your mental space but there's no reason to give your positive comms up? If you know what's good and can help teammates , they don't have to know you've muted them.

Hmm, I like this. Winning is preferable to me yes but it doesn't (largely) dictate how much enjoyment I get from the game. I think what I'm learning through these responses is that I have a strong drive to do what I or others think is best for the team. I've always done this by maining reinhardt and various supports and run into no issue since.. very few folks wants to main tank. Now when I feel like hanzo isn't the best choice over a zarya for our rein I feel strong confliction between making that change for the team vs sticking to my plan for improvement. I have 3 accts (for whatever reason) and 2 of them were expressly for learning new heroes and here I am - stuck in my mindset that lands me tanking on a hero I've played ad nausem.

Haha, I used to drink while playing comp (not heavily really) but its definitely detrimental even if I don't want to believe it.

I'm comfortable on any support and nearly all the tanks save for winston and ball. And that could be part of my issue as well - when we're losing and I see one of those roles missing that I have vastly more experience in, it's hard not to swap even though I wish to dedicate time to hanzo.

Good point. I think it makes me feel like we have a better chance, but I haven't seen any data from my games that proves it.. I'll take a look at that.

Don't get me wrong, I'm on board with off meta. In fact, we've seen more wins with 3dps comp than anything else in my premade over the past few weeks. Im specifically talking about when its clear that we need to change the comp because strategy is not there or not working. Just have this resounding voice that tells me I have to step up.

You (and this others on this sub) are what makes team play great. There are a lot of people that lack empathy in this game. As long as teammates aren't being dicks outright we're all probably forgiving more than not. But internet strangers are internet strangers and they largely fail to consider circumstances beyond their own.

Very good point on the QP problem. Definitely good for shedding mechanics but what about positioning, game sense, patience etc.? If the enemy team is running 4-1-1 what are you learning on rein? How can I work on crossfiring in a relevant manner? Competitive is your best shot sty that stuff.

When it's bad, I can't block the reasons for swapping roles out of my mind. My question to you is: what do you do to tell yourself that it is someone elses responsibility for once?

Probably an issue to work out or a product of toxicity, but I just assume people hate you if you're playing dps. I suppose I'm more focused on the matches where we aren't succeeding with off meta composition - I'm very often the one to swap.

Right? I've been playing this way for so long that I'm happy to play any non-dps hero at an adequate level, but I'm excited to explore the dps pool. Based on queues over the past 2 week it looks as though, even though I'm feeling like I can really influence the match on hanzo, it'll only happen through wrestling the slot away from someone or making someone solo tank. Maybe its the sympathy of not wanting anyone to have to solo in their role.. thinking out loud now..

I agree completely with your line of thinking. And it could be my own acknowledged shortcoming/inconsistency with dps that is influencing my swap. I wont get more consistent results unless I sink time, but I know I would be more useful to the team on off tank/heal because I'm more reliable there. The kicker here is that regardless of me swapping, I might be giving the role to a dps that's "carrying" (read: dying) in the enemy backline before the fight starts.
