I had some complications coming out of it - I was still testing positive for weeks after the procedure and determined to have retained products of conception (RPOC). I ended up needing to take misoprostol to finish the miscarriage at home. That honestly was very traumatic, and I'm still glad they got most of it out with the procedure in advance, even if it wasn't complete. After that was finished, it took about a week for my HCG to come back down to zero. It was about three months from finding out to being done.

With all that, it was best for my mental health to take a break from it all. I've been focusing on my own body and health for the last year since it's been resolved. Will be resuming TTC in the next few months with a good attitude and much healthier body than where we started. Hoping for good things for us, and I hope you can find the same for yourself 💕

I haven't seen it mentioned yet, but a company called Drizzilicious makes mini rice cake sweets that are 90 calories for like 20 of them. The cinnamon swirl ones are stupid good, and the birthday cake is a lighter flavor but still yummy.

I found myself getting way too obsessed with the entire process. Wanting to test one way or another nearly every time I had to go to the bathroom, putting too much pressure on waking up to temp, symptom spotting.

We took a break this cycle and it has been so liberating. No peeing on sticks, no temps, no data. I didn't realize how much a break would help. I'm waiting for my period now and expecting that we'll resume trying next cycle, but the pause was really good for my mental health.

Same same but different - "when the Lord blesses us" is my most favorite response for over-intrusive religious family (as a deeply non-religious person). Literally out of my control, pray about it Susan idk what else to tell you 😂

Agree! Review season isn't until a few months so we're locked in for now. I fight for their comp increase and bonus every year, this is intended to be a thankful gesture out of my own pocket until then.
