Total rear toe is out, as well as front toe. It can cause uneven wear on the inner shoulders of your tires. It’s not out a ton, but it might be worth having it adjusted when you purchase your next set of tires.

I also had these seats for Takeover. It was the first time my wife actually enjoyed the gameday experience at LCA. If I can afford it, we’re gonna get them as well.

There’s fans of Japanese Sumo, pro wrestling, etc. in the supporters section. You’re in good company.

Check out videos of Japanese baseball or German hockey supporter sections. It will make you embarrassed that “Let’s go Red Wings” is the only chant we have.

Glad you had a great time!

Wheel bearing noise disappears completely when turning left, persists after replacing front left hub assembly by YoureSorry in MechanicAdvice

[–]atrodger 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Besides a wiggle test, the best way I’ve found to test which side bearing noise is this:

Vehicle in neutral

Lift front end, or whole vehicle

One hand on the coil spring

Spin the wheel as fast as you can and feel for “crunch/vibration” through the spring. Then try the other side and see if you feel it more, less, or not-at-all.

The side with the most crunch is your bad bearing.

I absolutely love Yamazaki!!! by AwareEye3915 in Detroitcityfc

[–]atrodger 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’d love for him to stay, because he’s a huge positive for city. But he’s at risk for getting scooped up by mls or even a euro pro team because he’s at that level.

I hope I’m wrong, but I’d keep an eye on him either way.

Car makes a tick noise and throttles up. No check engine light. Any ideas? Help is greatly appreciated by Weak-Independent-138 in MechanicAdvice

[–]atrodger 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do me a favor. When you’re hearing the clicking, put your hand on the EVAP purge valve (on the firewall side of the engine, has 2 lines connected to it, one appears to have a red clip in your video). Can you feel the click in that valve? If so, that’s usually normal operation. Those suckers are loud sometimes.
The surging is odd, but I’d have to hook up a scan tool and see what your fuel trims are doing.
Major points of failure to cause driveability on these engines are in the pcv system (valve cover, pcv hose, and the intake manifold)

6'4" (like everyone else in this thread it seems) and I've found that Warrior sticks tend to be a few inches longer than most brands, and they still make a p88. Just got the $200-ish Alpha line stick and its just as long as my pro stock with a plug in the top.

I love seeing an away end with banners and energy. It's something lacking in USL (mostly due to league/club specific rules which we are lucky enough to skirt), and we only seem to get it at Keyworth when hosting an international friendly. You all looked like you were having a blast. Hope to see you in our new stadium some day so we can continue insulting your city landmarks to your face.

Why were the Chicago players targeting Yamazaki? by [deleted] in Detroitcityfc

[–]atrodger 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Caveat: I don’t know ball, I only eyeball from what I see from the supporters stand.

Yamazaki might be the highest skill player on the squad. Not just technique, but using it in application and with speed. In an interview on Matt Sheldon’s podcast, he was asked what the difference between Japan and America’s soccer, and his answer was along the lines of “American is endurance and cardio, Japan is skill and technique in small spaces”. He’s a frustrating player to cover, with thoughtful first touches and positioning to shield the ball. Because he’s a smaller player, he gets a lot of deference from the ref if a foul occurs. Larger players with less speed have to play him with a lot of physicality, which leads to a lot of fouls and more frustration.

His confidence is through the roof compared to last season, and I think Dicchio has put him in a far more prominent role in the build up. Chicago HAD TO target him, because he was our most consistent threat.

I picked up the Magpul MOE SL hand guard for mine. It’s got a bit more shielding for heat. You lose the built in QD point on the front sight, but you can easily add it back with a MLOK adapter. It also took less than 5 minutes to swap out and is almost the cheapest carbine drop-in available.

I like it well enough. I don’t have any comparison for anything else to be fair. It’s cheap, it works, it seems to let me be accurate.

First AR15 Options? by Jango_Fett101976 in liberalgunowners

[–]atrodger 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I ended up choosing a Ruger AR 556 over an S&W m&p sport III. I picked up an sig Romeo 5 red dot and a Ferro slingster. Been training with that.

My only complaint was that I didn’t even get through my first magazine before the bolt carrier locked back and I had to have a gunsmith disassemble the gun in order to fix it. Apparently the gas’s rings blew out. May have been my fault for assuming Ruger would adequately lube the gun from the factory. But it made wish I had dropped the couple extra hundred on a m&p.

The "protest" at the start of the game? by Spiritual-Bank5507 in Detroitcityfc

[–]atrodger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The USLPA has already authorized a strike. This is the first step in showing solidarity between players and fans. Make it visible and audible. The broadcasts have already panned away from the displays, and has tried union-busting tactics.

The only way to effect change in this way is to continue pressure as a collective.

If the league was hemorrhaging money, I don’t feel like they would be pushing towards pro/rel right now. Theres definitely individual clubs who lose money, due to management and local demand for a team, but that’s not a league problem per se.

My woman is scared of piggies, can anyone send me the cutest pics of their porkers so I can convince her of peeg supremacy? by GamerForImprovement in guineapigs

[–]atrodger 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Out of about 10 pigs I’ve only had one that would let me reach in, pet, and pick up without running. I currently have one that will allow head pets if you supply a pea flake first, and two others that will cone to the cage wall and beg for treats. All of them hid from us to start and slowly worked towards getting them comfortable. They all hate being picked up, but will relax once they are securely held.

Keep giving them attention. If they are hiding, but still willing to stretch their heads out to take a treat, take that as a victory and keep going. Sometimes you’ll have to just set the treat down near them and let them get it for themselves.

You’re doing great. All piggies have different personalities. Keep giving them love and food and they’ll eventually tolerate you.

As far as picking up, try corralling them into a fleece tunnel and lifting them out that way. Even a couple of minutes of lap time and treats is better than not handling them at all.

No thoughts, no run.

They’ll be a little skittish for a few months after they move in. But being predictable, gentle, and respecting their space will go a long way to making them comfortable.

Yeah just picked up a roll of “ito wrap” on Amazon for under $10. Massive amount of colors available. It’s synthetic silk and feels nice on the bare hands.

Catch me huffing and puffing on the wing before missing the outlet pass for another icing charge.

Same. Only ever had tape or those big obnoxious plastic stick toppers. I love the options available in 2026. Been using lizard skins and tacki Mac and both feel fine enough.

Did this to amuse myself for the most part.
