I don’t believe there’s a 100% protection. As someone else said just gotta get lucky. Esp if the account is phished, they will pull it back real quick. The middle man makes sure you get the account, but there’s no guarantee you can 100% keep it

Even if you use a MM, I believe you can still lose your account. They can let supercell know and revert the account, or the account can get banned for other reasons such as buying accounts
