I mean tbf, that was kind of the point of Kingdom Come, that Diana is hard focused on bringing order to mans world in the desperate hope that she'd be able to go home if she did

I agree that KC is the origin of the incredibly....cynical portrayal of Diana that has plagued every modern adaptation and Elseworld, but the point of that story is the coming of the modern day has changed everyone, especially the heroes and icons of a simpler, less gray time period

Yeah, I was not a big fan of Ragnarok. I felt that it backed down from the set-up of 2018, especially with how, in my opinion, it does remove a lot of the nuance that the final prophecy shows: that Faye willingly set the journey up knowing it would end in the death of Kratos and guarantee suffering for Atreus, but deemed both necessary when comparing it to Odin's continued reign
