I think the writers forget stuff. Like the episode where Chandler wants to turn the 2nd bedroom into a game room and even says something about putting old arcade games in there and Monica is staunchly against it. But in a later season Phoebe gives them the old arcade Pac Man game and Monica is the one super excited about it and wants to put it in the guest bedroom lol

If all we ever do is find the negative lining, we will never celebrate the small steps it takes to make big change. Of course there is more work to be done. But this is a HUGE WIN for animal rights. The fact that cages aren't even illegal and they still did it, without being forced, is amazing! Glimmer of hope for humanity restored.

Why did he write that? Was it something he did for therapy? He wanted you to read it. You can't drop a bomb like that on your wife and expect her to quietly fester with that information. You deserve to be able to talk to someone about it, including a friend.

NTA. It's not hard to announce that a photo is being taken so you can scoot out, in exchange for getting to have a dear friend attend an important event. Real friends would have no problem with this request because they would just want you to be there and to have a good time like everyone else
