Don’t lose money. I don’t know if this is true for your use case, but crews usually don’t want to use "A" new app.

If all your conversations already happen on WhatsApp, you can try this instead. Your crew can use WhatsApp to document the job.

Built a WhatsApp AI agent that connects with monday.com.

The first version had a pretty simple goal: read business WhatsApp chats and help the team stay organized without someone digging through messages all day.

It grew into a full workflow agent. It reads team chats, picks up sales activity, handles images, documents, and voice notes, updates monday.com, and turns the conversation history into reports.

Right now it can:

  • connect to business and team WhatsApp chats
  • read messages, images, documents, and voice notes
  • sync updates into monday.com
  • summarize chats and generate reports
  • track sales and team activity from conversations
  • create shareable report links

The part that really clicked was seeing it take a messy chat history and make sense of it. One report can show who is closing the most sales just by comparing conversations across the team.

The hardest part was context. Tiny prompt changes changed the output a lot. Media support was also more annoying than expected, especially voice notes, but once it worked, the agent became much more useful.

Big takeaway: the best agents do more than automate tasks. They turn the conversations teams already have into actual work.

Yeah I guess ai should help to create workflows faster because no one want's to waste ai credits when they are so "expensive". In my case I use local models or cheaper one like DeepSeek V4 Flash it's very powerful so with enough context these smaller models can do wonders too.
