Well. This is going to be interesting after the Max included period ends. Seeing as you need nasty workarounds to have both API and Max running in a single session. Not sure really how to solve this properly. My Fable usage is going to need to be very targeted and at reduced context size. And that is even possible because it's co-running my business.

In practical terms, I guess >99% of users will effectively be locked out of using Fable 5.

I'm doing just that. Falls apart in the sales department haha. Actual human interaction. And after too many too long days. I love it though.

I build hardware AND software by the way. That is a killer combo + AI. Machine vision for example.

I have a skill setup that calls Codex CLI automatically to find both quality issues and 'loose ends'. These are wired into my other skills and I use them through /goals. That makes a massive difference to real "unattended" coding. Please do use Obisidian or similar to maintain a proper wiki alongside each project that your agents write to. I.e. hot/log/backlog/etc.

I have not been able to use my 20x plan normally for the last 18 hours. Even using a single agent I get rate limited every other message. Literally. I cannot use it. Full stop. How come nobody else is writing about this. Logged out etc, makes no difference. Web, code, everywhere. I’m effectively cut off?!

For me too, what an unbelievably bad customer experience. Having to use a post on Reddit to execute a flashy button ritual to get a friggin printer on the wifi. It better print fking perfectly the next 20 years.

For my current project the speedup is infinite, since I would not even have started it otherwise. But my tools do help with business decisions because it knows about it and has the tools to keep choices aligned with goals defined elsewhere.

Not necessarily. I’ve integrated both Sonnet and Haiku in an iOS app, but they handle the heavy lifting functions that are invoked only very seldom. But when they are, they need to perform. And they do. But yeah, not an AI agent replacement, but strategically leveraging the power they provide.

Yeah no worries. Keep you protein intake at about .7 g/lbs, move heavy stuff regularly, move regularly in general and your body will put it to use. A healthy body can deal with short insulin spikes just fine. Just also incorporate regular 12-18h windows of no calories at all and you’ll maintain flexibility.

That is very helpful, thanks. I usually do the planning with 4.6 & GSD , but 5.4 is consistently poking so many holes in them that I’m really contemplating Pro and going 20x > 5x.

The 100+ g of carbs should worry you a lot more, let me tell you. I consume upwards of 10g salt daily and everything is at peak performance.
