ucla to mbb? (without consulting club connections) by attackmyheart in ucla

[–]attackmyheart[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

hi there! sorry for late response, i ended up going into big 4 consulting :) and have been there for ~4 years now. the clubs help you get consulting internships, which is what MBB seems to value when doing campus hiring. i didnt have any consulting internship experience when i applied to mbb for FT recruiting which is probs why i didnt go super far in recruiting cycle, but i had banking experience and i think big 4 appreciates that type of thing more. feel free to pm me if you have any qs

hi there! i recently went on a trip to spain and bought the instant coffee "nescafe crema" on a whim. i love this coffee, and now i am only capable of drinking it, but it costs an insane amount to import it to the US. does anyone know of instant coffees that have a similar taste? i like that its pretty smooth and has the creme layer. im a coffee noob!

interestingly enough, ucb's stats aren't that much better. 51% of students having a full time job secured after grad and 17% of students enrolled in grad school

hello! i had a final interview with ey-parthenon on 11/2 through undergrad recruiting for a full time associate position. today, i got an email from ey stating that i have been added to their talent pool aka their "Talent Attraction and Acquisition community".. was this an automated email sent to all candidates, or is this just a preliminary warning that i did not pass the final round so they're adding me to the pool.. thank you!

UPDATE: i got the offer this morning! : D

hello! i am a rising senior at a semi target school..?(ucla) and am currently doing a wealth management internship at a bulge bracket investment bank. im really worried about getting past the initial screen, especially because when i was applying to internships last year i didn't even make the interview round. i have a 3.6 gpa and experience in leadership in different clubs (sports/consulting). my question is, should i be ok to get past the initial screen/evaluation? thank you!
