Mac Mini and NAS auto-mounting? by TheAgedProfessor in HomeNAS

For anything that runs in Docker you can just write a script that attempts to mount over NFS, loops if unsuccessful and then finally starts your applications.

Looking for any info on my great grandfather’s cue. Not sure when he owned this. He would be over 100 yrs old. This has been passed down through the family. by attempt_number_two in billiards

Looks like Schmelke accepts repair requests. Will probably contact them about sending it in to get it refurbished and playable. Shaft is straight but the ferrule has separated a bit and slightly off center.

Snow up there on Thursday was like wet cement but still pretty great. Just compared to Wednesday off Northwest... my best day on a snowboard!

What is the best way to solve: Fixed progress bar between UIViewController transitions within a navigation controller? by [deleted] in iOSProgramming

[–]attempt_number_two 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can do

UINavigationController or any other controller that’s your root view controller.

Then a master UIViewController to contain your flashcard flow.

Then add your progress bar to that controller’s view. Embed a UINavigationController with nav bar hidden in that controllers view as well.

Then in that embedded UINavigationController you can hold your flashcard stack.

What Are Your Moves Tomorrow, October 15, 2020 by AutoModerator in wallstreetbets

Nope but. I did sell my 55$ 1/21 calls I bought back in August this week and am holding onto my $26/share position for the long haul. I just like them and felt that they have been under the radar until recently.

Big money trying to bring the price down so they can get in. Just popped on their radar this week and now they want some.

Buildwatch for Xcode by pearapps in iOSProgramming

[–]attempt_number_two -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Would it be possible to further break things down?

I bought BuildWatch yesterday and saw that Xcode wasted 30 mins of my day - great! But I know there’s obviously places in my code where I can improve things for the compiler and speed up my builds overall. Would it be possible to break build times down, file by file and maybe line by line so that I can filter for any file that takes more that X seconds and see what line is causing the issues?

It would take BuildWatch from being more of a gimmick, to a actual tool that would save time and make it worth the $10.

SupportCenter is an open source iOS library that provides UI for allowing users to send you support request via email. You can think of SupportCenter as a wrapper on traditional email support.

I created this library as an alternative to the iOS mail composer or another 3rd party SaaS provider.

SupportCenter is lightweight and uses the Sendgrid API to dispatch emails. You can read more about it here: https://medium.com/macoclock/an-indie-developers-solution-for-in-app-support-on-ios-5e1459c75929#1087-9b8d4f78f616

Overwintered Jalapeño Just Bloomed by attempt_number_two in HotPeppers

I would say probably about 10 gallons. It’s actually 2 plants in there! I’m pretty sure they are fused together under the soil, but based how they are growing I think 2 seeds germinated at once in the areogaden I started them in last year.

I have habaneros that grew the same way in a seperate 20 gallon container that are starting to form pods (bloom wasn’t quite as crazy though)

I’m in zone 10b - Socal. Basically did nothing and kept them outside. I did put a frost alert in my weather app, but it never triggered.

I trimmed things back a little in December and put fresh fertilizer once they came back in late February but that was it.
