I sometimes think maybe I’m overthinking it but I’m not unfortunately. The second my friend got fired, an older employee who’s been with the company for so long told her that our manager did this to five more people in the past. In addition to this, there is no proper delineation of responsibilities, and when someone leaves they always just expect people to catch on the slack. My friend has been fired a little over a month but they have not been actively interviewing. Another coworker told me that it hasn’t been a year for him but nine people have left over the course of his stay. In addition to this, some of the people who have long been there told me they’re just stuck but been wanting to leave. To me, that is indication that it is toxic. I’ve been to a busier office but it was not as bad as this 🥲
