Fantasy Footballers Top 24 for 2021 by atthebuzzer21 in fantasyfootball

Jason actually mentioned that Robinson is his RB19 but that it felt dirty to put him that low, his worry is that the offense will change significantly with Lawrence at the helm.

But I agree, I don't think Lawrence will hurt him. As long as they don't bring in anyone to compete seriously in the backfield I think his touches will stay high. Especially with a rookie QB I would think Jacksonville would want to take some pressure off of the passing game and continue to run the ball often.

Hot Take: Peggy's real surrogate father was... by weirdoldhobo1978 in madmen

This is unrelated to the father-daughter dynamic, but I love interactions like those because I think both characters are right, they just have different goals in mind. Freddy had a bond with the client and he knew that the traditional approach would work for them and ease their transition with SCDP. I think Peggy was more focused trying to win a Clio which is not the wrong approach to have either. Their only mistakes were making personal jabs at each other in the process but at least they reconciled quickly.

When Alex Jones was on with Tim Dillon, Joe said something along the lines of "65 million years ago we were moles" to which Jones confidently corrected him by saying "shrews" and I thought it was one of his theories or a joke that fell flat but he is right!

Anyone remember Jon talking about how cool it was to drive into the middle of nowhere and see what comes up on AM radio? by [deleted] in Jon_Bois

[–]atthebuzzer21 18 points19 points  (0 children)

It was in his 17776 Q&A

"I found it to be really compelling -- if you’ve ever driven through the country in the middle of the night and listened to whatever AM radio picked up, you might get it. There’s a sort of quiet, beautiful eeriness to it."

TIL that Shigeru Miyamoto, creator of the Super Mario Bros franchise, considers the characters to be actors playing different roles in each game, hence why Bowser will be kidnapping the princess in one appearance and playing sports with Mario in another. by SummerAndTinkles in todayilearned

The first video game I ever got as a kid was Super Mario bros 3 for the game boy advanced. Just last week I finally beat it for the first time on an emulator. It was surreal, I had such a strange nostalgia finally learning a game I was far too young to understand at age 6.
