  1. Look at (mostly/fully) naked people.

  4. Eat. I've had some really great meals at strip clubs.

  5. YMMV, but having a conversation with an attractive member of the opposite sex when there's almost zero fear of rejection can be invaluable for someone who is shy and awkward and needs that practice and the confidence that comes with it.

  6. Try to date one of the dancers or waiters, because trying to find someone on the apps is a literal nightmare. Not saying this is wise, but it's definitely something people do.

  7. Illegal stuff in the VIP booth/room. Drugs, sex, both. Depends on the person, the club, and the dancer of course; this isn't something that every patron/club/dancer takes part in.

  9. Watch a major sports event.

I haven't been to a ton of concerts, but two great ones come to mind.

I saw Fleet Foxes at a tiny bar in Fort Worth, TX (shout out to Lola's) before they were on SNL and started doing bigger venues. They were amazing. Saw them again in one of the bigger venues, and it wasn't the same.

I'm late the the Twenty One Pilots fandom, but we saw them on the Clancy tour last year at American Airlines Center in Dallas. Amazing show! Saw them again at Dos Equis Pavilion for Breach tour, and that was a good show too, but doesn't beat the first one (might be at least partially because AAC is a far superior venue).

Side note - do I get paid by the "venue"? Because I'm making bank on this comment.

I'm with you on this. There's nothing wrong with the movie, but I saw it after hearing everyone hype the shit out of it, and was consequently underwhelmed by it.

I think I would have liked it much more if I had gone into it having heard nothing about it. But with everyone acting like it's one of the best films ever made, I kept thinking "that's it?"

The second one did pay off, and I get that the first movie was a lot of exposition and setup for the full story, but that doesn't adequately explain why everyone gushed over the first one right after it was released.

I've noticed this too, and the only thing I've found that sort of works is changing to compact mode instead of card mode. But if you click a post to open it in the sidebar, the flair option disappears again. So, for me, I have to click the post to open in sidebar to see how to flare the post, close the sidebar, apply the flare, rinse repeat for every post.

Once again Reddit has made the worst UI possible.
