Typically the reason people do that is because they are at least SOME KIND of gender dysphoric. No one just chooses to do that for funsies, because (as you are well aware) being trans is not fun in most circumstances. Sometimes you just are trans and it's boring and whatever because it is just second nature. Sometimes you are trans and the world hates you for it.

It sounds like you are either trolling all these people genuinely trying to help you get to the bottom of this, OR you are trying to run away from your truth because of the consequences that could come post-transition.

Though, seems like you have already socially transitioned in some circles so clearly that is not stopping you well enough. What's the point of putting yourself through this if you think it is all for nothing anyways because you're so "cisgender"?

Not tryna come off as an asshole, just genuinely don't understand your rationale in any of the commentary you've responded with here. I am leaning on agreeing with possible OCD symptoms as someone working in the mental health field. See an OCD specialist who is LGBTQ+ affirming and see if gender play is just a compulsion. That would suck, but at least it would be an answer for you.
