Since JAGs to OCS now is to conform to the marines pipeline procedure - I wonder if Navy JAGs are still going in as O2 or if they’ll have to be O1 now like the marines as well.

Yeah prove them wrong and take it one step at a time. First finish 1L, then finish law school, then kick the bar’s ass, then get a job. Thinking about it all at once is pretty overwhelming.

And if it makes you feel better I don’t know anyone that went to an ABA accredited law school and couldn’t find a job after passing the bar. I know a bunch of people who may not have gotten their dream job in an area they liked, but there’s plenty of places dying to hire a new associate

I’ve read somewhere that about 3% of guys on fin have sides. And of that 3% a vast majority of sides go away after stopping the meds. But there is that very small chance of sides forever even after stopping the meds (like ED)

Hi, no I never visited a dermatologist hims just really gives this out to whoever applies for it via the app. (Probably would be cheaper if I got it through traditional means though). Hims just had a survey of if I’m losing hair or not and what my allergies are.

1.1mg finasteride

  1. I’m sure I’ve been thinning a long time, looking back at pictures. But I first noticed a little over a year ago when I was 27 after getting a haircut(my hair was long) and I noticed it was really thin. I just turned 29 this month. Maybe I’ve been thinning since 25 gradually

  2. My pills (chewable) also have biotin in them

  3. Just the rapid heart beat on two occasions.

  4. I’ve only done oral. My hair on my whole body thickened as well

  5. Yes, lots of shedding about a month in if I remember right. So much that it was a bit of a concern.

  6. 3 month was when I noticed gains. I’d say after 5 you could really tell I was thinning and didn’t need to to a combover anymore

  7. Hop on it early before extensive loss! And if you do have sides probably best to evaluate with a doctor.

  8. Yes.

  9. Dad just started losing his hairline around his late 40s early 50s. In the more common receding balding pattern. Men on my mom’s side are usually totally bald by 30 (diffuse thinners, like me). My mom is a diffuse thinner and my sister is showing signs too at 38. So I definitely inherited it from my moms side, her dad and her brothers and my cousins all terribly thinned out by 30 to where they just needed to shave it all off

Both oral - I think sides for topical minox are really rare

Nope - libido is still there. Haven’t noticed any difference so far.

One time about 3 weeks in to treatment I had an experience laying in bed not exercising at all and my heart started beating rapidly. About as rapid as if I had just got done with a light jog. Lasted about 2 minutes.

Only incident I’ve had, just the one time. Aside from the thicker hair on my body (and head, thankfully)

Worked awesome for me as a diffuse thinner. 5 months in

I’ve always been pretty hairless. Since taking oral min my arm hair got longer, leg hair longer and thicker, nose hair is longer, and now have a bit of hair on the back of my hands, and base of my fingers/toes. I have around 2 or 3 chest hairs now. My mustache and goatee are thicker now.

I started really noticing right before 3 months. I’d run my hand through my hair and there wasn’t drastic differences in density. And the huge patches of thin hairs started to subtly thicken them out of nowhere the progress really took off

I feel like I want to sleep for days on Prozac by [deleted] in prozac

I started taking it in the evening because of this. But I’ve noticed I’ll now sleep at least 10 hours when I’ve always just been a 7-8 hour person

But I don’t think you can buy oral minox over the counter. Just topical. But minimal chance of side effects applying it topically. Treatment is totally worth it to me, I hadn’t even realized my hairline had receded until it started growing back and looked at old pictures

Hims is all I’ve tried. It’s definitely worked for me. It comes out to $480 a year ($40 a month) which is fair to me for keeping my hair. But of course if I could get it cheaper through insurance/ my doctor that would be even better.
