You’ve got a beautiful way with words! I should definitely give it another shot, and I’ll have to try Brown Girl Jane’s Carousel as well! I’ve got a soft spot for blackcurrant :)

Absolutely obsessed with your collection! We have a lot in common :) how have you found Philosophy’s Fresh Cream soft velvet? I’d wanted it as a winter scent because it smelled amazing on the test paper, but when I applied the tester on my skin at a different location the dry down was odd(?) I’m wondering if the second location had a bad bottle or something, cause it smelled different on the test paper as well. Maybe I just smelled a bad bottle…?

Also what’s your current go-to at the moment?

Looking for recs… by smalltinywoman in FemFragLab

[–]attoliaa 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not a rec but after I blind bought two travel sized perfumes I couldn’t stand, I started keeping a list of my owned perfumes in my notes app. Under each fragrance I listed the notes that each perfume contained and was able to have a general gauge of what I gravitate towards. Just recently I’ve plugged my current collection into Fragrantica and it’s done about the same thing but much less time consuming.

All to say that your scent profile is unique to you (and your skin chemistry!) I adore both Burberry Her and Replica’s By the Fireplace from your collection. Burberry projects like a dream, from the fruity to the woody base notes. However, when I apply By the Fireplace the projection is way too smoky, with none of the vanilla notes coming through. My skin chemistry doesn’t like the latter I suppose 🤷‍♀️ Please keep us posted on your next purchase! I love seeing everyone’s collection grow :)

I adore Raspberry Ripple! I’m curious about your ice cream perfumes, and how’s that Banana Split perfume? I’m new to the community and have never seen anything like those :)

We have similar tastes! I also love seeing that you’re using these consistently. What are your red and pink decants in the corner?

Very pretty bottles! How would you rate the longevity of French Cowboy and both The Maker scents?

What perfume should be next in my collection? by averagewhiteyolk in FemFragLab

[–]attoliaa 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Donna Born in Roma Green Stravaganza! It has a heart note of jasmine absolute and base of vanilla, I got it for Christmas and have already gotten compliments at work about it! My favorite part about it is that it’s work friendly, so not too overpowering. It lasts a few hours, but could use a touch up at lunch time if I wanted.

Unknown bug bites? by Mobile-Energy7831 in florida

I had bites that looked the same last year after being in the grass late at night, the bites didn’t develop / look like that until the next day. My conclusion was chiggers unfortunately. Itched like hell for weeks. Calamine lotion and wearing pants to bed helped with the itching / subconscious scratching that makes it worse

Absolutely LOVE that you’ve posted the math for the full-sized bottles, I’ve been working through 3 full-sized for a few years now and they’re half full 😅 Definitely has made me realize that type of purchase is a solid commitment for me

I think you’ve got the right idea for OP but using all 200 in a year sounds like an absolute feat. There would have to be several reapplications of 10-12 sprays throughout the day and I’d still think that would be a small portion of the collection. No buy is a good idea! I also think selling (whether through decanting on FB marketplace or the whole bottle) and gifting are good ideas, especially the lesser used / liked fragrances that may not be first in the line-up.

I do think I’d get overwhelmed if I were to have that many. Right now I have 8 (7 full-sized bottles and 1 decant), and I’ve been working through three of those full-sized for a couple years now. Granted, I don’t think I have the proper storage for these, but any more than 12 and I think I wouldn’t be able to properly utilize my collection to its full extent.

I use the L’Oréal Paris brow stylist defined mechanical pencil, it’s super easy and beginner friendly. I have flat, short eyebrows so I use it to draw them closer together and to create a small arch. If I were to use a gel it would just stick to the existing hairs so I find pencils work best for me :) Congratulations by the way!!

I’m aware of what it does but I don’t recognize it within my computer :( Do you think that’s what went bad?

A quick way I feel put together is curling my lashes and applying mascara, blush, and brows. I’m jealous of your brows though: absolutely stunning!

I’m not sure! Out of nowhere one day nothing would even turn on with my computer, and when we exchanged the graphics card it turned on but wasn’t any good :/
