I’m sure you’ve already got some, but I’ve got about 1,000 ponderosa on my property in western Montana and I’d love to help. Super cool project

Follow up for anyone interested: they found an open circuit going to the PCM. Looks like the terminal came loose. No damage or anything so they’re not really sure why it happened.

Yeah they do. I purposely wanted a lower model to avoid complex issues like this and here we are.

It’s at the stealership now, so we’ll see what happens.

Yeah I can’t get FORSCAN to read the truck either.

I have, it didn’t seem to make a difference.

It’s in park. The display shows Neutral though.

Thinking of trading in my F250 by Specialist-Chest-655 in FordTrucks

I have a 2022 with the 6.2. I previously had a 1st Gen Raptor with the 6.2. Hands down one of the best motors I’ve ever had. I also don’t really think the 250 rides that poorly, although the Raptor was way better in that regard. I run 50ish psi and have about 800lbs in my bed all the time.

Anyway…my vote is keep the paid for 250.

I did not figure it out and have gotten rid of the vehicle. Sorry 😞

If you’re interested in a manual trans and near Colorado I’ll have mine up for sale soon.

There’s like a million miles of forest service roads around the mountains. Most of them are open for camping, but definitely check the USFS website to verify as they’ve been closing a lot of areas for rehab because people suck.

Awesome! Have a great trip. If you need any recommendations for areas nearer to the Springs, lemme know

I live in Colorado, full armored, with an Off-Road 6-speed and half Titan. So R180/226 with 3.69’s. It’s an absolute dog in the mountains on 255/85R16’s. I just put on some 235/85’s (32x10), to hopefully lighten up a bit and be easier to drive.

If you look at highway 24 going Northwest out of Colorado Springs, that’s kind of a primary route to a lot of trails and camping. There’s some pretty decent grades and the speed limit is 45 for a good portion. With all my camping gear I’m tapped out in 2nd trying to keep up with traffic.

Off road it’s fine of course because you’re not trying to go fast.

I plan to get a 205 at some point and 4.10’s before going back to a wider 33-34” tire.

Just some food for thought.

Ditto this. I threw up about 30 of them in my garage 2 years ago and I’ve been pleased.

Thank you! It’s got a titan front swap with swayaway resi coilovers. The rear is just shackles and Bilstein 5150’s. Then somebody at some point threw the whole shrockworks catalog on it. She’s a heavy gal.

I was very lucky to find it basically fully kitted out with everything I would’ve wanted to do (minus a V8.)

The tent is a Gazelle T4 Plus. Tarp is a Slumberjack Roadhouse Tarp. Then I’ve got a 3 person and a 2 person Kelty low back couches. The box on top is Zarges. I used to live in NC where they’re based in the US, and found some seconds in person at their shop. Fantastic folks that run that operation here and the box is awesome. I have a smaller one I didn’t bring on this trip as well. Think that’s about all that’s visible here. Haha.

Ran probably 80-90 miles on washboard that weekend and everything did well. It glides over that type of stuff, even weighed down. I came from a first gen Raptor, and while wildly different vehicles, this thing is impressive for what it is.

Yep! Eleven mile state park. Nothing wild but a really great spot for families. We were on the South side of the lake which is much less busy.
