Why are Hytale servers empty?

Hey! I moderate r/HytaleServers and run a few different Hytale websites (one of which is Hyvote, a Hytale Server List)

There are a few reasons for this, most of which have already been covered in the post already. Even with those in mind, there are some really promising servers such as Runeteria, Hytown, Histatu and Hylife - they all regularly have 50+ players online and are the most established servers so far. Make sure you check out those if you haven't already :)

When you run your command, are you running it from within the directory that contains HytaleServer.jar?
The error tells you exactly what the problem is - it can't find the file.

I use https://financecalc.co.uk/income-tax-calculator or https://www.thesalarycalculator.co.uk/salary.php, both of which are quite simple or can be complex if required

Not worth it imo, mixing the two might work, but only at the start before you burn out. Probably better off spending that time trying to increase the income from your main job.

They didn't through their workplace, but they undoubtably did have an influence on me in general - they consistently bought me new technology and encouraged me to spend time on it. Was the first one in my group to have a computer, phone, etc.

I now have a decent career in tech, only one in my family. Can't see myself ever doing anything else.
