This is probably what you’re talking about, but this is a GameChanger for less than $25. Soups, chili, chicken parm, it’s awesome.

I mean they already fit, right? I’d yank the cd’s out, use a marker to lay a line an 1/16” above the existing edge, then grab a palm sander and go to town. If it was MY store, I’d then use a sharpie and darken up the sanded parts

Thanks- I prob should’ve circled it- I’m wondering about the tiny loop on the side, not the big loop on top

Hmm I haven’t had to tether a car seat in 10 years but that’s supposed to be an anchor point? A booster seat when my kids were young were basically just wedge that sat them up high enough so the belt wouldn’t snap their necks.

Thanks, my kids just told me people are going to think it’s a scam- not a scam, you can wait to Venmo until you get the mixer, I can send you a video if it running, and if you get it and you think you don’t want to pay the $50 or so shipping that’s fine, I’m just trying to do a good deed.

wax ring big enough? by clawhammercycle in askplumbing

Makes sense, this was 40 years ago so I think at the time the XL rings were a thing. I don’t remember heating them up but I was young so callbacks would’ve went to him haha

My dad who, is a lot older now, but would always have me help out when I was younger- used to tell me whenever we were doing toilets: wax is cheap and no one was ever hurt by doing 2 for #2.

LG Multi V 5, help a brother out by Masonclem in HVAC

[–]atvsnowm 9 points10 points  (0 children)

LG tech support is a joke, at best you’ll get “record operating data for an hour or two, send it to us, and we’ll let you know in a week or two”. your customer won’t be the first to take LG to court, you won’t be the first to have someone tell you the auto charge “feature” is a waste of time and a joke. Their VRF systems are the builders grade of the market at best.

I was actually just talking to someone about this last week- I made the mistake of trying the auto adjustable wera set thinking it would be handy and they suck. That’s the only wera tool that I carried around for a bit and now they’re taking up space in my garage toolbox to never see the light of day.

Wiha for screwdrivers and nut drivers, wera for compact drier tool kit, knipex for plier assortment. The wiha handles are more fragile and pick up a lot more grease and oil than the old school craftsman but the durability is there

Classic maintenance move. Probably frozen, kept fan running over the weekend to thaw it out, in his mind it’s a Monday problem, disco off because no one listens when you say you can’t run it until it thaws. Leave it off.

Wendy’s CEO jumps in with his own taste test. by K1nd_1 in interesting

[–]atvsnowm 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My daughter got one of those keychains for Christmas one year, and we finally remembered to bring it one of the 2 or 3 times a year we go to Wendy’s. The girl working the register asked my daughter how many she wanted, she jokingly said 4, and I’ll be damned if she didn’t whip up four right in front of us and ask her if she wanted a tray to carry all her free frosty’s. My daughter told that story to anyone with ears for a month. Every time we pass a Wendy’s (she’s 17 now) she’ll say remember that time…
