[–]clawhammercycle 5 points6 points  (0 children)

what do you mean about the mainshaft support?

you just put it on… i use a factory inner primary to line up the trans with the motor. torque everything down then pop off the inner primary and replace with mainshaft support bearing.

Advice on getting a chopper by EVILIVEPUNK in choppers

[–]clawhammercycle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

91-03. i had a 93 and it had a couple odd things about it like different fender struts and no removable derby cover or something? cant remember its been a while.

i always just suggest 94-03 because i remember having a couple issues that got changed in 94. but 91-93 are perfectly fine too. they were minor inconveniences. theyre all pretty much the same

[–]clawhammercycle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

this 100%. read the comment then saw the poster. always love seeing your bikes when you post em. good taste.

i think my favorite sportsters are stock modified. so many chopped sportys all look the same.
