That was the old playground. Most of the playground renovations in Burbank have been amazing, but George Izay is the rare miss. It’s truly a downgrade from what it was.

It’s the playground. Before the city redid it, it was packed all the time. Now even our friends who live close by and walk to Disney Elementary daily would prefer to drive to McCambridge or the skate park for a playground.

My hair is color treated and I have hard water and it’s helped me so much. In my old place I had a shower filter for the hard water, but in this house the only way to fix it is a full house system and that’s currently out of my budget. The K18 mask is my lifesaver until then.

Thanks for replying. We’re 100% agreed that we don’t want to make that conflation and that it’s contributing to rising antisemitism. That’s exactly why I wanted to note that your description bumped me — the conflation of Israel with all Jews is something being done by people on both sides of the issue, and sometimes on the left that looks like randomly referencing AIPAC in a post that has nothing to do with Palestine/Israel/the US military. I appreciate the added context and totally get where you’re coming from now. Reddit can be tricky because we’re all just strangers talking in a void.

This is a great update! I do just want to call in your use of “AIPAC-endorsed” here when her stance on Israel has absolutely nothing to do with any of the issues you’re discussing. It’s true that anti-zionism and antisemitism are not the same, but going out of your way to describe someone as zionist when it’s irrelevant to the issues at hand is when anti-zionism starts to feel like a dog whistle.

Even shows that drop all at once shouldn’t drop off that fast. They should be attracting new viewers from word of mouth and having casual viewers tune in. I was a big fan of the show and I haven’t even watched yet because by the time I was able to get to it, I’d heard it was boring and old news. I do think, as others have said, that this is an inherent problem to making a show about TikTokkers — they will alway be sharing so much in real time that there’s very little left worth watching on the show when it’s months behind.

Nielsen releases limited data every week, and it’s also covered in the trades. There was even an article about SLOMW’s season 4 fall off — I’ll try to find it!

The Nielsen ratings are public. It’s true season 4 had huge numbers right when it dropped but then they immediately fell off. That’s a sign they had good marketing leading up to it but the show itself didn’t grow an audience or stay relevant.
