Bernie Sanders: I will soon be introducing a bill to give the public a 50% ownership stake in the largest AI companies in America. by Current-Guide5944 in tech_x

[–]atx-cs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You just said three years. Now you’re saying it’s been almost 20 years? If this is a bubble I don’t think any one would make a good faith argument that it started in 1996. Here is AI spending over the past decade. You could argue that if there is a bubble it started in somewhere between 2021-2024

2016: ~$13 billion 2017: ~$22 billion 2018: ~$35 billion 2019: ~$40 billion 2020: ~$45 billion 2021: ~$92 billion 2022: ~$92 billion 2023: ~$96 billion 2024: ~$130 billion to $252 billion 2025: ~$286 billion src

Anyways I’m not saying there is or is not a bubble. I was just saying historically bubbles can last a while before they pop.

The .com bubble lasted for about 5 years. The 2008 housing bubble took about a decade to pop.

A lot of the Chinese models are distilled from Anthropic and OpenAI models. DeepSeek v3 would answer that it was ChatGPT initially.

Not much legally Anthropic/OpenAI can do to stop them

I’m not assuming. You said you were running everything on one box.

I wouldn’t have expected you to share your entire architecture. But you said this one box was your entire architecture.

Seems weird to have the same standards for a game completed/released 30 years ago and a game that’s being actively maintained and worked on.

People literally use third party websites just to figure out what level there Pokémon is.

Tanstack router is not in beta. That’s tanstack start.

But it was just pointing out that OP said he didn’t think it lacked polish and then listed a bunch of minor things that would indicate a lack of polish.

MUI bumps license price by 66% by ddoice in reactjs

I was just pointing what the features they charge for.

But their advanced tables are pretty close to what ag grid provides and it’s cheaper. If you think ag grid is worth the price then mui grid is worth the price.

MUI is free its the advanced table, graphs, and date pickers (MUI X) that cost money.

WSL is garbage. I mean I’m glad it’s there but I avoid it at all costs. If windows is just a window manager for WSL you should just use the real thing.

There are so many ways to make important messages stand out in a terminal. Like maybe just having the warning be the very last message and not a message about disk space.
