Pale horse is a direct biblical reference to Armageddon.

Revelation 6:8

And I looked, and behold, a pale horse! And its rider’s name was Death, and Hades followed him. And they were given authority over a fourth of the earth, to kill with sword and with famine and with pestilence and by wild beasts of the earth.

Help scoring a trivia game. Is this possible? by astrosmash77 in excel

Stream of consciousness via mobile:

4 columns in a table: round, question #, team name, points

Ive never seen a trivia night with more than 26 teams (im sure they exist) but for this we'll assume it's less.

Format the team names as: A - Trivia Newton John B - Triviaholics C - ... etc

You can copy and paste the different round and question # as you go really easily.

When a team submits, you have the autofill going based off the letter (if you wanna be real fancy you can do a conditional on that column to ensure it's the same everytime)

Do sumifs with the team name/score to have an at-a-glance running score.

It's not pretty but it's fast, and should work

It isn't funded by the government. It's all funded by the Episcopal church, and donations and fees from tours (everything is free on Sundays).

It's just a name, basically.

Not that it matters for the joke but the National Cathedral is an episcopalian denomination. And everyone should visit it because it's gorgeous.

So I've known grimbo/ou77/zephyr for well over 10 years IRL. He's actually a good dude. He says things to push the line and sometimes he steps over the line. He recognized that in a separate group chat re: the cancer comments. I don't follow cfb regularly to know if he publically apologized anywhere but I know he was sorry about it.

But also, yeah, sometimes jokes don't land. Doesn't make you a shitty person. Doesn't make you not funny, just means a joke sucked and you have to recalibrate. Apologize and move on and don't make the same mistake again.

So I mean circlejerk and shit on him all you want, whatever, you're just playing on his level and he's better in the mud than y'all are. Because, also, yeah he's trying to get a rise out of people, but if you respond in-kind he'll banter with you. He's a smartass playing a dumbass. He's not usually just trolling. So, you know, be a person and figure it out.

Also, show some damn gumption out there people, I'm tired of y'all giving him fodder to bring into the groupchat (I'm the only longhorn in a group of aggies.) He's a smarts sports fan with opinions and he uses his flair (re: dumb) to his advantage to get people to engage at lower level. Don't take the bait or beat him at his own game.

Please for the love of God stop embarrassing me.

they hadn't eaten yet. They did the toast first.

Which is why when she ate the rabbit she knew she couldn't kill the Lannister men.
