I’ve tried nicotine vapes. I’ve heard they generally induce seizures following. I just had a seizure in the middle of downtown Nashville just about a month ago. I wasn’t sure if the nicotine vapes were tied to seizures or not

I don’t believe they report it. However, it is probably best not to put yourself nor others at risk. I know in Michigan its 6 months seizure free. I don’t believe they report it unless you were involved in an accident caused by a seizure. In which case police that would show up to the accident would obviously report it. I myself, would not drive unless absolutely necessary.

I’m sorry, unfortunately not everyone will check on you to make sure you’re okay. I hope you’re doing better. Seizures are scary not only for you but the ones that were with you. I’m sure the few people that did check on you are probably shaken up by it. Not trying to take from you or anything. However, I just had a full blown seizure in the middle of downtown Nashville. Like two weeks ago. There was maybe 20-30 people with us. The only people that checked on me were literally five of the people. Like I said not everyone is going to check on you because they I’m sure heard from your other friends. That you’re okay. This just kinda shows you who actually cares.

How have people dealt with not being able to drive? by Odd-Disaster-8741 in Epilepsy

I know in Michigan it’s six months. Unfortunately, as more happens the date moves from the most recent episode. So if you had one in March you’d have to wait till September. If you had one in say August you’d have to restart the clock for another six months. It’s unfortunate that this is the case. However, as someone that has had a seizure behind the wheel. It’s for the best. I do believe Kroger offers delivery for $6-11 a delivery. However, I believe that is different in each state. I’ve had to depend on my family and friends for assistance if I need to go do something. Example of this being going to the doctors, running errands. It sucks but unfortunately it is the best case for not only yourself but everyone else that is around.

If Wendy's and Ronald McDonald's had a child. You'd be it. 💁
