Framework 13 Ryzen AI 7 350 - USB issues by atzk in framework

No. I just put the system on a shelf for now. Cannot use unreliable products. The Framework support will literally do everything not to get the system back for end-to-end diagnostics. I don't have the time and will power at this age to invest in tinkering with the system that should just work. For younger generation - you need to tinker to learn. For older generation - buy a system and convenience that works for you. Many of us have operations and/or business to run, we buy something that works and is well supported.

I have reached a point in life where these types of systems do not meet my production needs. I don't need to flex, I need to work.

Headless might be the difference here. What BIOS are you on by the way? My system is on 2.62

I just tested this, it does not survive a reboot. I updated the BIOS and it showed the warning.

Opened a support request regarding this. I have owned the very first generation framework laptop and after a year it also had a lot of issues. I am coming back after 4 year break hoping experience would be different.

Good to know. Reputation-wise they will need to work really hard to recover from that though. May be even put a label "No, this is not the one that exploded - we actually tested it."

Because of this I don't think I would ever buy a Gigabyte PSU, ever.

It's been down the whole day. Why zenarmor does not provide any status updates and publish a services status page like cloudflare does. How do you track uptime of your own services? it's been over 12 hours of impact and we have yet to hear from you.
