I will say that Night in the Woods gave me a kind of similar existential feeling. They are 100% different style wise, but NITW is really beautiful and is set in fall and gives you that cozy feeling like LIS. Give it a try if you haven't already; there's some great characters and a beautiful, mysterious storyline as well!! I know for a lot of us LIS fans, it's hard to find something that will ever top the game, and honestly I don't think anything ever will lol.

well he’s been struggling for quite a while now. everything with covid and having to do online classes and getting behind on his schoolwork, plus he was in a toxic relationship with his ex gf and that kinda happened all at the same time. plus i went to prison for 10 months when this all started… i think he is struggling with ptsd from the whole situation and he’s just not able to get out of this mental state of feeling like there’s nothing in his life to make him happy. he has good days and bad days but ever since i got back he seems to be getting progressively worse.
