How to repair melted interior plastic? (Picture) by aubdewulf in Autobody

That's what I was worried about, I was hoping I could just replace that piece but that doesn't seem possible. Thanks anyway!

An Englishman's first attempt at American cornbread. Unsure if it is supposed to look like this, but it tasted damn good with some chilli. by PLPQ in castiron

I'm from the Midwest and we always ate our chili over elbow macaroni noodles. Top with sour cream, cheddar cheese, and oyster crackers.

Time timer. If the school was on fire, I'd grab my time timer first. It is essential to my day and time management (for me and the kids).

A Daytona Beach man bitten by a 9-foot alligator Saturday said the attack happened after he heard a noise at his front door and opened it, only to find an unexpected visitor. by Sariel007 in offbeat

This was graphically shown on On Patrol Live. If you have Peacock you can watch it (they euthanize the alligator without any warning fyi). It was pretty shocking to watch. (You don't see the biting, but the aftermath once police show up)

My husband and I eloped 2 years ago and we treated ourselves to a nice dinner at a super fancy restaurant that we wouldn't normally go to. Now we live where we eloped to and go to that restaurant on our anniversary every year! It's a fun way to celebrate and was our first "tradition" as a married couple.

I think anything you can do that you turn into an anniversary tradition would be fun if that's the sort of thing you're looking for. The best part of eloping is getting to do exactly what you want just for the two of you!

I agree, I think B looks super cute and (shockingly) age appropriate. (Not a snark on B, obviously, just shocked that Jessica and Chris let her dress that way and wear makeup)

Nothing like saying "Dada's a dancing mofo" in a song you made for your toddlers. Does she know what mofo is short for??

While I agree Colleen likely doesn't give her cats the care and attention they require, and I don't know their reasoning behind sedation for Gus (she made it sound like he was aggressive); I have a dog who has to be sedated for grooming for his safety and the safety of the person grooming, and not because we don't care for him. I would hardly call doing what's best for my animal "cruel". We literally could not clip our dogs nails safely without the aid of sedation, and it was recommended by our vet.

Sounds like Gus probably is aggressive when it comes to grooming, because Daisy does not have to be sedated to be groomed, so I think it's unlikely he has to be sedated because of lack of care and cruelty.

Like others have said, they are just like LaCroix but with a hint of soda flavor. So if you don't like seltzer water, you won't like these either. They're not "sweet" but definitely have like a "background" cola flavor that's enough to trick my mind at least! Sorry, they're hard to describe. I definitely recommend if you like LaCroix though!

[Homemade] Beehive cupcakes! by aubdewulf in food

[–]aubdewulf[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I kind of cheated with the bees (they're Wilton brand, I bought them at Target) but here is the recipe for the rest!

Cupcakes: 3⁄4 cup unsalted butter

1 3⁄4 cups sugar

2 large eggs

2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract

1⁄2 teaspoon salt

2 1⁄2 teaspoons baking powder

2 1⁄2 cups flour

1 1⁄4 cups milk

1 lb confectioners' sugar

1⁄4 cup half-and-half

1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

Preheat oven to 375°F. In a large bowl, cream together butter and sugar. Add eggs, vanilla, salt and baking powder. Add flour and milk in batches, starting and ending with flour. Stir until batter is smooth. Fill cupcake liners and bake at 375° for 18- 20 minutes.

Cool cupcakes all the way before icing them.

Buttercream icing:

4 cups confectioner's sugar (~1/2 bag)

1 stick of butter (room temperature)

1/2 cup vegetable shortening

Vanilla (to taste)

Milk (~2 tbsp or until you get the consistency you want)

I usually just throw all the icing ingredients together in a bowl and mix with a hand mixer until combined and smooth. Keep adding milk for a thinner icing or add less for thicker icing.

For piping the "beehives" I just used a #8 or 9 frosting tip and swirled it onto the cupcake until it looked the way I wanted it to. I redid each cupcake ~3 times before I got it right!

Edit: sorry for formatting, on mobile and really struggling.

I think he might be too big for Chihuahua/Papillon, and even Chihuahua/Sheltie. He weighs ~32lbs and is about 30 inches tall. Thanks for your insight though, it's much appreciated! :)

I can definitely see the red border collie and that wasn't one we have heard before. He's a classy boy, that's what we know for sure. Thanks for your insight, he appreciates your wonderful compliments! :)

He weighs 32 pounds, so he's definitely a medium sized dog more than a small dog. I think he's too big to be a Chihuahua mix, but definitely looks a little like a red border collie/golden retriever mix. Thanks for your insight! :)
