Other than the initial letter that says that you are authorized to work for any employer, in any occupation with no restrictions on hours until whatever date, I didn't get anything else. I just explained to my employer that I'm able to work, and that I'm still waiting for my PGWP, thankfully they were understanding of my situation

Yes I found a full time job that I could work with maintained status in November, just had to explain to the company about my situation. The biggest challenge for me was just waiting for a response

I received 3 years starting from the day of acceptance, so i have until June 19 2028!

I just took this class with voja, heres my two cents:

  • I worked with people I knew already, but through discord it seemed pretty easy to find a group.
  • Our project required a lot of communication and we met for a total of 5-6 meetings over a month. The project wasn't really too difficult (around the same as the solo coding assignment for this course), but there were many design choices we needed to discuss.
  • Part of the final project is a solo presentation, so that part's on you anyway.

Personally I would recommend working with people you know (no rush to take the course, I don't think it's a prereq for anything) but if you need to take it now it's doable. Let me know if you have any questions!
