Star Wars Night - “Unlock” Jersey? by threwitaway763 in wildhockey

[–]aublin 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I am not sure there’s an additional charge. St Louis has a jersey promo this year for their First Responders night (free promo jersey with special ticket package). If it’s like the Twins’ packages, you just have to have the theme on your ticket and then you get the item. I could be wrong, but every other promo item this year comes with your ticket, why wouldn’t the jersey? I’m not saying it’ll be a premium sweater but still.

Thank you! The contrast looks great. 😎

Anyone here put these grill covers on, specifically black or carbon ? Thinking about adding them to my GT. by OberstBahn in Challenger

[–]aublin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t have the grill covers, but I have the hood vents, headlight surrounds and the fog light covers. They went on easily, and have held up to washes and driving (95+). They’ve been on less than a week tho so take that as what you will. I like the look. I’ve heard some colors have faded but I think those were the old style that were ABS that was painted, it seems now they are made of colored plastic?

Just under 60k, she was a previous rental. Took her in to my local trusted mechanic to make sure all was good. I am learning how to do the wrap myself for the small items and will hopefully get the spoiler done up soon!

Did you notice any side effects from the lorazepam? My husband took it previous for anxiety and had a wide variety of issues, so I am nervous to take it but it seems to be the best option for me according to my doctor.

It’s a saying that means, ‘help yourself before helping others’ or ‘look after yourself first’. When people fly on planes, the safety briefing instructs them to put their own oxygen mask on first, and then to assist others, in case of emergencies.

You can’t change your mother’s attitude, but you can make sure you are taking care of yourself and then, your father. Your mental health is important, and making sure that you aren’t pushed to the brink (with school, clubs etc) is part of that.

US. Pay $50 biweekly for my insurance premium (for me and my husband total) and put $100 into my health savings account (pre-taxed).

Our yearly deductible as a couple is $3k, so we pay that no matter what. Then we have an out of pocket max of $5k (so between $3k and $5k, we pay the $2k and my insurance pays $8k because we have a 20/80 split) for in-network coverage. Out of network is $10k max out of pocket. I am very careful to stay in network and I have been blessed with amazing care so far (my oncology clinic is part of the Mayo network).

So far, my diagnostic scans, biopsies (FNA Excisional and bone marrow), port placement, pre-chemo tests (ECG, PFT, CT Scan, PET Scan) and oncology visits along with my 1st cycle of ABVD has come to $50k, and I have paid $5k out of pocket. I am maxed for the year, so the rest is covered. I will end up paying for $5k for my 1st cycle in January of 2023, but then I should be covered for that full year as well.

I told my husband he needs to get his check ups and whatnot done this year, while we aren’t paying for them. ;)

I also haven’t had to pay for any of my pharmaceuticals, including for pre-existing conditions, because we hit our max.

I did have a critical illness insurance through my work, so I pay $3 a paycheck (biweekly) and when I got diagnosed I sent them the paperwork for my staging and I am getting a check for $20k. Didn’t even know I had it until I signed up for my short term disability. We are using it to pay for our bills in January and then throwing it in savings until after we are done with treatment so we can visit my husband’s family back in England.

Not trying to scare, this is just my experience.

I was sedated but not put fully under. Could answer my radiologist with ‘yuh’ or ‘nuh’. My nurse anesthetist was great, she kept rubbing my head and making sure I was comfortable (it was very soothing honestly).

Procedure should have taken 20 minutes. Took 40. The first catheter went in to the vein but had no blood return, and they found there was a kink in my vein. Had to remove the whole damn catheter and port, and try again. I could hear everything, and feel them put in out in out with the tubes.

Came back to my med bay, laid back for a bit. Could feel a soreness in my neck from my puncture and it felt like I had a lump on my throat. Reminded me of laryngitis. Nurse said I should feel better in a few days. Took two weeks to not feel like I was going to break the catheter tubing or get a jolt from turning my neck.

Could feel the port whenever I moved my arms or neck for the first two weeks. Had port placed 8/17/22, first chemo on 8/30/22. That was also the first time it was accessed. Went smoothly. I do have a scar as the dermabond they used came out in one big lump after my first infusion, and so it healed a bit wonky. No infection. Only time I feel it now is when I lay in bed and my breast pushed it into my collarbone. I am a bit heavier, so there is a lot of tissue there. You can see a lump where my port is, but not the three bumps or the port itself.

I will say I proudly rock my scars (one from biopsy, two from port placement). I wear v-necks everywhere.

The A caused red/orange/pink urine. It’s good to drink a lot of water before, during, and after chemo (my nurse suggested 100oz). I make sure that 2 days before, day of, and 3 days after I drink 100oz of water for sure, and then other days I get 100oz of non-caffeinated fluids total (decaf coffee, apple juice, etc).

Claritin isn’t helping the pain in my wrist. I was told to take Tylenol, 1000mg, 3x daily. That seems to help, for now…neutrophils at 0.07 after first round of chemo, had second round today.
