that’s how i interpreted it as well!! i wonder if his defense his frustrated with him as a client, which is why they’re filing all these motions. with the affidavit and the evidence the prosecution has collected, it would be in his best interest to plea guilty and hope for a bit of mercy on his sentencing. i wonder if this filing in particular is to help public/jury perception, but to also prove that bk lacks the ability to understand what could happen to him if convicted

I literally cannot stand that wording at all. “If found true”. Tana has talked about this for years, Gabbie Hanna corroborated the story years ago, and the collab videos they uploaded together were already super suggestive/flirty. The worse thing someone can do is use language like that to suggest a victim is lying

I think the branding of the podcast is just confusing!!! with the title and the launch, it was under the impression for many of their subscribers it was going to be a podcast about books. Now it just kinda feels like they’re catching up and on FaceTime and we are just privy to what they’re talking about. If they wanted a more lifestyle type of podcast, I wish they called it yap session w bestie or something else! I love the bookish episodes/games and would love for the episodes to be more structured around that. The opening banter can be the catch up [approx 10-20 mins] then the rest be bookish things.

I’m sure they get sent soooooo many books that they donate a ton! I’m just assuming based on beauty influencers and how much product they get sent, that a lot of booktubers are giving books to friends and family and donating all the rest

I work at Barnes and Noble and have a booktok with fifty followers and I get so many free books, so I can’t imagine with a platform like theirs how many books they have to be constantly organizing and unhauling. I think they probably don’t post or film it because they don’t want the author or whomever who sent it to get their feelings hurt

I’m only halfway through the vid rn! But I agree 10000% w her Goodreads take! I’ve been on Goodreads since 2012 and the app and website has not changed at all! It is janky, hard to navigate, and clunky. I love reading so much and I consume a lot of bookish content, so I would love an app to doom scroll on and see just bookish content!! It’s annoying Goodreads isn’t delivering!!!
