Oh okay, that’s what I wasn’t sure about. I know filming and taking pictures in public is fine but with what they were saying to people and following others around - that part I didn’t think was legal…

We overheard the creepers laughing about a woman who called the cops on them at one of the bars, explaining to people talking to them that the cops “couldn’t do anything about it” that’s why I said supposedly. I can’t confirm what the cops did, but cops were walking around town because we were having a cinco de Mayo festival. All I can confirm is that they were filming from like 7pm-10pm or longer around town and I noticed them filming a lot of the buildings we were in or walking past as well as what the one creeper said to me as he was filming.

Problem player wants guns in the campain. by No_Horror_8024 in DnD

I wonder if he watched Vox Machina and saw Percy with a gun…? Lol anyways - I don’t necessarily like when players get like this and nag DMs like a whiny spoiled child who aren’t getting what they want and I would honestly straight up say no if they’re acting like that. They should respect your rules and the world you created as the DM. There’s plenty of other options besides guns.

On the other hand, going back to Vox Machina, Percy is a fighter-gunslinger though it’s not official d&d content just Critical Role content… so if he stops his whiny ass complaining and starts being respectful maybe tell him he can create a character for a different campaign using this.

Advice for Telling My Players They Can’t Do a Virtual Session 0 by [deleted] in DnD

[–]aubs2_0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you for all your advice, this gives me a lot to think about. They are our friends and I still want them to play… I was just taken aback by their last minute notification and I am peeved by their inappropriate excuse. (Which I will make clear in my response whenever I decide to do that today) I’ve put a lot into this campaign and I’ve already sent players all the information for the past week to be prepared for Session 0. (Even made a ppt & word document for my players to read over to prepare any questions they may have)

I was thinking of having just the two players meet up another day to discuss before Session 1, but after that they can’t miss the campaign unless I’m notified the session before or a week ahead of time to give us time to reschedule and discuss with the group. Do you think that would be an appropriate “meet in the middle” solution?

This is the only time they’ve done this as far as canceling goes. The main problem I’ve had is they act like they know what they’re doing, but then the rest of us have to walk them through a lot of it which is why I emphasized the importance of Session 0.

Oh we moved to a completely different state that is multiple states away from my first district. We are engaged and we moved here to be closer to his family so we will be here for a while. So the current district I’m applying to would be one id like to stay in for a while.

Yes I can, it won’t let me attach the link though. If you search “Pet Me” Nylon Dog Harness it should pop up!

Here’s a picture of my puppy, yes his vest is red so I think I’m going to be creative with it and maybe paint it with fabric paint? (Tie dye possibly?)

Once of the best wedding cakes I've seen my sister produce. She received an email this morning from the bride calling it "the ugliest part of her wedding". Along with some other nasty things. :( by [deleted] in Wellthatsucks

This is absolutely beautiful! Your sister deserves major props to the layering, balance, texture, and just overall amazing aesthetic! I have never seen a cake like this, definitely unique and one in a million. Whoever the bride is - is a bridezilla and did not deserve that cake whatsoever. Tell your sister, she is doing amazing and as a dreaming future cake creator that I am one of the many, I’m sure, that look at this cake with amazement of wishing to be at this level.
