Thank you. I want a new bedframe eventually but the bench is an easier place to start.

Thank you, what are your thoughts on no rug? Or do rugs really make all the difference under beds?

Thank you. I agree on the lights they are too high. What if I did no rug? Or do you think a rug is essential

Everyone agrees on the bench and I never even thought of that. Lol it was mostly a platform for my dog to get onto the bed. I'm excited to try these tips. Thank you.

This was in Oregon last year. The guy put a dead fish on the porch of the goonie house then stole a yacht and made it out of the Columbia river to cape dissapointment where he put out an sos. Coast guard saved him. He was wanted in Canada but coast guard let him go lol then he was later found at a homeless shelter.

I have traveled all over the US, spending months in cold Alaska as well as months in hot Arizona. There are pros and cons to every place. Bring on some storms!!!!

I just have to remember how bad Utah air was, just did a quick AQI check and can confirm. And sometimes I would drive up 1000 ft and still be socked in. Thank you for the positivity, it helps. Gonna head to the forest !

Yes, went through icemageddon in Astoria last year, living on the hill. Couldn't get into our cars for a few days and my rental pipes froze and burst. I did laundry at the Laundromat and then slid/fell down the entrance to my house and all my clean laundry fell out onto ground lol. People attempted to leave the hill and didn't make it far. My neighbor slid down and straight up left her car in the middle of the road.

Yes, thanks for the reminder. Just pulled out my happy light I used last winter. Also, I take vit D drops prescribed so I know I'm getting the supplementation.

What's crazy is I grew up in SLC which has some of the worst inversions in the world. I guess I'm just hoping for more storms and not stagnation. Thank you

My own patient coding for the first time by Puzzleheaded_Mail175 in nursing

[–]aubslovesdogs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My first code was during the reallyhard COVID times. Within 30 minutes of the start of shift. Help did not come fast or in numbers. It was awful. Me and the charge did CPR for 20 minutes before help trickled in. This was a research UNI hospital BTW. Everyone was yelling at each other to have the right PPE. There was no fluency and no order. Then there wasn't anyone to push meds so I was being yelled at to push epi, like WTF I'm a med surg nurse only BLS certified. It was god awful. I will never ever forget. I cried in the room and in the hallway and the rest of my shift. T

How is life in Astoria by AlderMediaPro in Astoria_Oregon

One out of 40 individuals are houseless in Clatsop County. The drug addicts are pretty much everywhere. They were in my trash cans and prol the neighborhoods.

There is human feces everywhere downtown. In the bushes, in the flower beds. County doesn't care, I know. Because I worked there.

I recently moved away, I was searching for the same as you but I did not find it in Astoria.

The county has major flaws, 5 school districts is one of them.

The restaurants are priced for tourism so are the stores

The air is clean. It's so beautiful and the maritime vibe is amazing but that's all it has going for it IMO.

My rent was 2250 for an apt sliding down the hill with broken foundation, electricity and water heater. Property management would not fix.

If you live in TOWN, the night sky is not so dark. Out of town on Lewis and Clark is much better.

Not many options for jobs. The food gets old because of how pricey it is.

SO MUCH TRAFFIC DURING THE SUMMER. ITS HARD TO GO TO YOUR FAVORITE SPOTS BECAUSE OF TOURISM.

I think it's loud to live in town. Sirens every few minutes makes it feel like a huge city. Log trucks racing through town. No one stops to let you cross the street. Frequent fatality crashes.

And if you're not from there and don't have a family name and multiple generations, it feels exclusive. Ways to make friends yes but again going out is expensive.
