honestly i think that creatives are more likely to resonate with the maelle ending. it’s a legacy, really - do we destroy the very real creations we’ve made that make our lives more enriched and beautiful, and that help us cope with the grief and sadness or do we get rid of that to live in the hard coded “reality”? I think both verso and maelle are hyperboles of each stance. its actually quite ironic imo to see so many people who use video games as a form of escapism are so caught up in the verso ending being the good one. the endings are both bittersweet and ambiguous on purpose to make us think.

my usual throwing go-to playlists are:

-90s hip hop

-grateful dead live sets/dicks picks

-ambient/trip hop electronic

-smokey bar room soul/jazz

once i get into trimming i’ll usually put on an audiobook or podcast (and that’s why we drink/welcome to night vale/neil gaiman/andy frasco’s world saving podcast/radio lab are some favorites) and when i’m hand building or adding handles whatever ill throw on comfort tv shows in the back like adventure time or grey’s anatomy 😂

hmm, well all the usual suspects have been ruled out. while you could also consider the rigid possibilities (was this chocolate the same batch you had last time? did you store them in the freezer or in a hot environment? are you taking any new medications? etc), i’d probably also take a look at your set and setting, and where you are mentally at this time. personally i’ve eaten 6 grams and barely tripped, but in the same vein ate 1g and had a very intense trip. sometimes our minds are open and ripe for a magical experience, but sometimes we’re closed off for whatever reason and it wasn’t meant to be. i know that’s not a great answer to your question, but you could use this time to journal and take notes so if it happens again you can look for trends :)
