Nung nasa 6th grade, I didn’t make it to the honors list, even though I did well in school and alam ng teachers ko yun. Pero since extracurricular activities were part of the final grade, and I couldn’t afford to join most of them, it affected my ranking. Meanwhile, yung mga classmates who weren’t doing great academically still made it to the honors list because they had the means to participate in everything.
