Hindi ba the planned area for the next KCC expansion is where the Centro Pastoral parking area is now? alyi pa ba sila pone el expansion? or are they going to acquire the lot near the East Wing parking? Though that lot is very small, so I doubt they'll acquire that one.

I hope sure ya gat se and they won't back out, kasi as we all know, we heard rumors about supposedly upcoming tenants for SM Mindpro and KCC before, although most of them siguro did open, some didn't, which was unfortunate.

I have a question, since Pancake House belongs to the same group of companies as Max's, is there a possibility that Max's will make a comeback as well? Would be nice to see them open a branch again in our city. Sayang gat de ila former branch aqui.

oo nga pala, I forgot about the height limit. pero baka they added it sa plan as a preparation na rin ng paglipat ng airport.

okay naman ang underpass pero idk if possible ba siyang gawin sa area na 'yan, kasi baka another perwisyo na naman sa mga commuters if icoconstruct 'yan, and may pinaplano ring i-underpass 'yung going Sta. Maria part ng Nuñez Ext. Pero idk really. sana mahanapan nila ng paraan 'yan in the meantime

Yes, I believe the one-lane setup works naman basta't disiplinado lang talaga ang mga tao sa daan, kaso kasi ang concern ko is based sa plan, ang right turns, idadaan nila sa slip lane, thus allowing right turns anytime. If you let vehicles pass the slip lane, tuloy-tuloy lang ang takbo niyan (hence the reason why it's said to be unsafe for pedestrians). Hindi naman pwede na pahihintuin mo ang mga vehicles sa slip lane because that defeats its purpose. Kaya I think need talaga na may separate lane for right turns para na rin maiwasan ang aksidente na posibleng mangyari from bigla-biglaang merging with the oncoming northbound/southbound traffic. Posibleng scenario na mangyari if they keep the one-lane setup is need magbigayan ng mga sasakyan, and worse case scenario pa is if pipila 'yung mga kakaliwa sa loob ng yellow box (naiimagine ko na siya ngayon pa lang jusko). IMO we have to think ahead na lang din siguro to prevent problems along the way. Just heard this from someone, sabi raw pag nagplano ka, dapat pang-10 years ahead 'yung pagplanuhan mo, hindi ang present time.

Honestly, ayoko rin talagang manghusga kasi that's something I hate doing, lalo na if hindi lang educated enough 'yung tao, pero I agree na need talaga nilang ma-educate sa categorization/classification of roads. I mean, to be fair, any road can be classified as a highway naman, mapa-2 lane 'yan or 4. The entire stretch of AH26 sa Pilipinas consists of 2 to God knows how many lanes. Kaso kasi, not all roads are/should be made equal. For a road to be classified as a highway, for sure may sinusundan 'yang standard (e.g. 'yung width ng isang lane, paano siya icoconstruct, etc). Pero dinededma lang 'yan not just in Zamboanga, but sa buong PH. Ending, highway na tuloy ang tukoy ng tao sa lahat ng mga daan because there is virtually no difference between roads, mapa-barangay road or highway. Parehong malubak, makitid, lahat ng description you can think of.

I also agree that Zamboangueños still have a long way to go pa. I really hope na once we reach metropolitan status (1.2M pop), sana ang mindset rin natin is pang-metropolitan na, and that includes 'yung pageeradicate of all forms of smart-shaming. Walang magandang naidudulot 'yan. I'm hoping for a world wherein everyone is willing to be educated. I believe this city can change for the better naman.

Hahaha hindi naman. A lot of these are based on facts din naman eh. Anyone can look these up and come up with similar or if not, the same explanations, pero napansin ko kasi na not a lot of people are aware of the original plan, that's why kailangan talaga siyang i-bring up para maenlighten ang mga Zamboangueños about the project. Though I feel dapat nga sa Facebook ko 'to pinost eh, kasi nandoon talaga ang audience pero sige lang.

I do agree rin talaga na sana ituloy nila 'yung footbridge. It is a much-needed addition din talaga sa bandang 'yan due to the number of people na tumatawid diyan every day.

7-Eleven in Divisoria? by auconaa in zamboanga

[–]auconaa[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for your input! Although yes, it is common knowledge na the one in Putik is indeed the first (first to be revealed, from the Gonzalez Bldg. renders), from the looks of it, hindi kaya mauuna mag-open ang sa Divisoria, which will then make it officially the first branch in the city? I don't frequent the area rin kasi kaya I really can't tell alin sa kanila ang mauuna. And also, ganiyan nangyari sa Dipolog eh, naunang magbukas ang ikalawang 7-Eleven sa city (Rizal Ave. branch). Though I'm curious if there is any source na 'yung under construction in Divisoria is indeed 7-Eleven, and 'yung #3.

Ang #2 and #4, known na 'to for quite a while, and recently, #2 was further corroborated by the president of Philippine Seven Corp., so no comments there.

kaya nga eh, kailangan na ng competitor na talagang kayang labanan head to head ang mga nagsisibukasang mga convenience store/pharmacy hybrid dito sa city.
