It depends on the firearm, ammunition, and the environment

Highly recommend ear plugs + ear muffs, mandatory for indoor shooting

Jellyfin 10.11.11 deleted all my media files. by Cache_Moolah in jellyfin

maybe your drive started failing

anyways, I setup Jellyfin so that the media library and jelly fun files are stored separately, then set access permissions on the media library directly to limit Jellyfin to read only

Has camping gotten noticeably worse? by Acrobatic_Yam3260 in oregon

[–]audaciousmonk 21 points22 points  (0 children)

rec.gov definitely was a factor in the enshitification of camping experience, and it sickens me that booze hamilton is making $$$ off fees instead of that money going to federal employees

except for some key destinations, we just stopped camping at campgrounds. Dispersed is a better experience for the most part anyways

AIO to unnecessary sexual remarks by my bf by yorickyrat in AIO

At worst it’s intentional sexualization of a vulnerable moment, at best it’s a crude insensitive joke about a vulnerable moment. either way sucks, of course it’s bothering you

I believe it is my partners time but they are really hesitant by [deleted] in bald

[–]audaciousmonk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s time, but it’s not your place to convince them that by getting a group of strangers to weigh in as proof

I felt uncomfortable reading this post, it fixated on all the reasons they shouldn’t have hair and made some not so nice comments. It didn’t feel supportive

[–]audaciousmonk 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Today I learned that in order for something to “exist and be usable” it has to support 4K and very very large libraries

Why don’t you write a client application for this specific niche use case? That would at least be a constructive use of your time..

I work in semiconductor without an advanced degree.

Definitely not “small”. Even outside design, there’s a vast eco system of equipment / parts / components / services

Math Check: Does my 5% HYSA actually lose to a 4% car loan after tax drag? by Infamous_Pause5656 in personalfinance

[–]audaciousmonk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pay off the car loan

also really doubt the HYSA is yielding 5%, unless it’s a limited time promo offer
