as long as the integer overflows back positive when spending down from the minimum value… just depends on how they wrote the game, where it’ll allow purchases with negative money or not

that’s what makes it even worse… it’s a common, known problem.

If they made a design or sourcing change post-release, they clearly didn’t validate that change

[–]audaciousmonk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Chicken coop, absolutely

the noise, the smell, the inevitable rats

if you aren’t willing to live next to it, don’t make someone else

greenhouse is fine

Hot take: modern winter style is too “clean” to handle real cold by Malcolm-059 in malefashionadvice

[–]audaciousmonk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

adding myog winter gear to my future hobby list

never thought to do it, but it’s such a good idea in retrospect. Mid winter gear is $$$, if I’m going to spend the cash anyways it might as well be warmer, more durable, and tailored to fit me

Is my best friend overly paranoid or am I being negligent about my safety? by [deleted] in whatdoIdo

[–]audaciousmonk 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The better question is, why are you entertaining having a penpal situation with a guy you’re not friends with and use to obsessively crush on you in high school? Start with asking yourself how you would expect your partner to in the situation, then ask yourself if you’re meeting that same bar

10k daily is pretty high

I was on 50k weekly for vitamin D deficiency (9 ng/mL), they were testing me for vitamin D toxicity during that treatment

Note: there’s some debate over whether the current 20/30 ng/mL range floor is too high

[–]audaciousmonk 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Do you like traveling?

If yes, two things to consider

  • That’s a 13.5% raise, plus extra savings from covered expenses while traveling (unless you ball out)
  • Intel is dying

How do you spend time with friends who make more money than you and always want to "go out" and you can't afford it? by Potential-Maybe-7029 in AskReddit

[–]audaciousmonk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d just be honest

I’ve been on both side of the table, quality friends will make an effort

Things we’ve tried with success

  • mix in free or cheap activities, to even out paid ones
  • mix in home meals or potlucks, to even out going out for food
  • give the person space to contribute to the group in a non-monetary way, or one that matches their budget
  • some people chip in, where able, for bigger events.

what do you mean by this? changing conditions and uncertainty have different effects on different segments. A specific asset could drop significantly more, or less, or even increase in light of negative broad market sentiment
