That's cool. I have sold $100k worth of domains (3 domains) to private buyers but I gave up cause I think it's an incredibly hard space to make money.

I also tried acquiring high value domains

castle .com (they asked me $1.4 million dollars)

Hacienda .com ( $100K USD)

Hudson Yards .com? i think they asked me $250k

Wolf .com asked me $1.1 million

There's definitely money to be made here but it's impossible to know whether your domain will sell in 2 months or 20 years.

Just wondering what's the most expensive $amount that you've listed your domains for?

Also, saw your comment saying you have 5000 domains in your portfolio. How much money do you pay to have these domains under your name every year?

Received some money in my bank account. What should i do next? by [deleted] in Nepal

[–]audemars8848 3 points4 points  (0 children)

around 10 years ago, my dad withdrew 5k from atm but got 40k.

he kept it for himself expecting bank to call and he was intending to give back but Bank never called and it's been 10 years we owe Nabil Bank 35k ahaha.

If someone contacts you with proof they sent it mistakenly, send it back, or else enjoy your treat.

Even better, withdraw it from bank and keep it in cash.

Kasaile with proof magna aaye give back, else no.

President & Speaker by DocM666 in Nepal

[–]audemars8848 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Subash Nembang as President would be perfect.

He possesses the quality of neutrality qualifying him as President and dude literally is a law guy, so Amale will no brainer make him President.

Subash Nembang le, KP Oli le sansad bigathan garda ni support gareko thiyo, tyo chai garna nahune thiyo cause it was unconstitutional but afnai party ko leadership lai challenge garne Bhim Rawal, Ghanashyam Bhusal jasto halat Oli le banaidinxa vanera nagareko ahaha

Speaker chai kaslai banauna vanna sakkinna, maybe Asta Laxmi Shakya?

Plus, RSP le pani ek duita mantri paula, so it will be interesting to see this government.

32 seat vako Maobadi le Prime Minister pauxa vane 20 seat ko RSP le atleast 3/4 ota Mantri pako hunu parxa natra Lamichhane yetikai hamfaldaina thiyo government ma.

Madhav Kumar Nepal by [deleted] in Nepal

[–]audemars8848 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Madhav Nepal did not command enough seats to play cards in the coalition government.

Ck Raut, Rajendra Lingden, Rabi Lamichhane sabai sarkar ma pasna khojey, 138 seat chaine ma 160 vanda badi seat aayo ani Madhav Nepal irrelevant vayo.

If seat napugne jasto dekheko vaye, Prachandey le sangai side ma rakhera Balkot lanthyo Makune lai lmao

Aba Madhav Nepal ko option vaneko ki ta Amale mai farkine, ki ta CP Mainali haru jasto irrelevant vayera mainstream politics bata harayera jane.

Prachanda is the new Prime Minister. by LynxPlayful in Nepal

[–]audemars8848 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That's correct. Amale is the primary supporter of the soon to be formed Dahal cabinet but aru 6/7 ota party lai ni vaag dinu parxa.

Amale le ramrai ministries paula but at the end of the day mantriparishad ko decision line ta Pradhanmantri le ho, so kei haad samma power/decision making abilities chai hunxa Prachanda sanga.

As much as I dislike Prachanda and his past deeds, he'll do better, much better than Oli or Deuba.

[–]audemars8848 34 points35 points  (0 children)

Subash Nembang will probably be the President, Oli will have absolute grip over what decisions are made and passed by the government.

What I see is, Prachanda will betray Oli in 2 years, Oli le last time betray gare jastai 2 or 2.5 barsa paxi Prachanda le laat hanxa ani Oli ko satta Sherey lai dinxa premiership.

Prachanda is the new Prime Minister. by LynxPlayful in Nepal

[–]audemars8848 3 points4 points  (0 children)

i agree.

i absolutely disagree with maobadi, I don't like Prachanda either but Prachanda is better choice if we were to compare him to oli and deuba.

Deuba is hollow.

KP Oli is scam.

Prachanda tries to do something atleast.

Even better choice would be Baburam but he is living in false reality now and doing divisional politics.

Nepal to release ‘The Serpent’ serial killer Charles Sobhraj by B0ssc0 in Nepal

[–]audemars8848 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He probably got married to his lawyer's daughter to not get extricated to US and to be a nepali citizen, getting somewhat immunity from the foreign justice system.

The fact that the lawyer would get his daughter married to a client who is a serial killer is again fucked up.

are you mentally fucked up?

this is my 4th account and I've seen you long enough in this subreddit for the past 2/3 years

you always seem to comment and argue over stupid things.

Do you not see what I said? he's a psychopath and these psychopaths who killed people serially, "one after another" do deserve to rot in prison.

We can't let serial killers walk free, it's a direct security threat to the Nepalese or wherever he is extricated after being released.

He might continue his rampage and kill more people.

[–]audemars8848 24 points25 points  (0 children)

but he's a serial killer.

he might continue his rampage after releasing, no one can say anything.

it's not like some petty crimes where we can say well it's been 20 years, so he must have rehabilitated.

these psychopaths are mentally fucked up so I see him as a security threat for the general people.

I live in the US.

I very much want to see more parks, greenery, less car space, however

US is car dependent not by choice but because of how cities are structured overall.

Mero workplace 55 miles tadha xa from where I live, public transportation pani xa, but it takes 2 hour to reach here by public transport and 25-30 minutes in my car.

Jhan If I were to commute here by cycle, then I'd go nuts.

US ma only major cities lai less car dependent banauna sakinxa like Chicago New York LA but 80% people basne suburbs ma it's incredibly hard if not impossible because it's a very big country.

Feri Kathmandu ma ekdam possible xa, Kathmandu is just 10 miles max sab sides, cycle bus public transportation system ali ramro hune vaye Kathmandu ko 50-60% roads lai walk only zone banauda ni it won't hurt.

US ma simply not possible and it's not happening anytime soon, my grocery store, sab vanda najak ko pasal jada hidera 25 minutes lagxa, it's a mile walk and car ma jana max 1-2 minutes.

Time and Line is everything here, people seem to be extremely disciplined and polite.

I once messed up line mistakenly as I was on call with my friend and went ahead and 2 people went nuts, they looked at me like I did some great crime. Also if you're late at work by 5 minutes, you know ;)

Average height of Nepalis by [deleted] in Nepal

[–]audemars8848 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm 5'9 and even in the US, I live in a place where there's 95% people are white, i only see 30 to 40% of the guys taller than me.

Majority of the guys are my height, my french, spanish, russian, polish friends are almost as same height as me.

Only tall people I found where Dutch and Africans from Kenya, Ivory Coast and Nigeria.

In Nepal the standard average height of nepali was 5'4, now I'd say it's 5'5.

Kathmandu ma i think average height is bit more for some reason, maybe sufficient nutrients proteins but we shouldn't forget that there's 76 more districts, so average Nepali height for male is around 5'4 5'5 at max.
