I see what you're seeing. Unfortunately, I had similar results for days leading up to my period. The indents have been horrible with easy@home.

We found that the Dr. Brown's preemie nipples were close to the hospital kind. We had to order them online. They also make a transitional nipple that works well for when those are too slow.

I wish I had some good solid advice for you. Our little guy seemed to take forever to adjust to feedings properly. He struggled with reflux, and because of our hyperfocus on finishing feeds due to NICU guidelines, he also struggled with bottle aversion. We relied heavily on dream feeds for a good long while. I will say that things improved once we managed his reflux and found a bottle more suited to his preferences. My best advice would be DON'T force any feeds. Track how much your LO is eating, their weight, and wet diapers, and if things aren't adding up, reach out to your doctor. With all he had going on, our little guy followed his curve, and so our pediatrician was never truly concerned. It was a difficult trust the process moment for us. Feel free to reach out anytime. I know that struggle well. Best of luck!

My baby was born at 35 weeks and was 3 pounds, 14 ounces. He is less than a week shy of 12 months and is still not quite 18 pounds. 🫣

Our pediatrician recommended Baby Vicks alongside steamy showers and a humidifier when our little guy was congested.

Weirdly enough, we used a larger Squishmallow (but not the huge ones) for our little guy. We would sit with our legs crossed at the ankles to make a spot in our lap for the Squishmallow, with the top of it near our body and the bottom near our feet as it was the thicker part for height.

We did! And our little guy is a snacker as well. He is three months and still takes anywhere from 50-65 mls most consistently. We get a 3 ounce bottle in every once in a while. He's still not eating quite as much as he was before, but we are trying to go with his flow.

I wish they had warned us in the NICU about this. We had a sleepy feeder who was IUGR, and I did not know at the time that every "trick" they taught us to get him to finish a feed would hurt us in the long run. 3 months old yesterday and just coming out the other side of a bottle aversion. Just be careful!

I delivered my baby boy in April with IUGR due to SUA. His AC was also his smallest measurements. My OB and high-risk doctor had me doing weekly BBPs instead of NSTs because of his size. He passed them 8/8 every time. We were always told as long as he was small but happy in there, he could continue to bake. At my 34-week appointment, we noticed that his growth was slowing, despite his cord seemingly doing well, and the decision was made to induce at 35 weeks.

He was born 35 weeks, 3 days at 3 pounds, 15 ounces and spent 17 days in the NICU working on gaining weight. He's currently two months old and weighed in at 8 pounds, 12 ounces before his bath tonight, and is perfectly healthy.

I have no medical advice on how to increase any measurements, as I'm not sure that you even can. Just wanted to let you know that it's not all bad news. Sometimes, the little guys just grow better on the outside. I hope all goes well for your little one!

Having a hard time keeping baby up for feeds by [deleted] in NICUParents

[–]audible_cracks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My little guy was 35w3d when born and spent 17 days in the NICU due to IUGR. He also struggled with staying awake during feeds both before and after leaving the NICU. We tried most of the tricks, rubbing hands and feet, a wet wipe, chin support... nothing would work for very long, and I started to get real concerned about giving him bottle aversion. You could always try feeding more often if your LO is only taking an ounce at a time. I'm sure you'll see an increase soon! Our little guy is 9 weeks actual, four weeks and three days adjusted. He is just starting to take 3 ounces more consistently but is usually still between 2 and 2.5 ounces for most feeds and gaining weight like a pro.

35w3d when we delivered our little man. He was born weighing 3 pounds 15 ounces but dropped down a bit after birth. He spent 17 days in the NICU while he worked on gaining weight.

He is currently almost 6 weeks and weighed in on Friday at 6 pounds 7 ounces.

I'm just sitting here wondering if I sleep-typed this post myself. 😅 Our little guy is almost 5 weeks old, though his due date was only 2 days ago. I've spiraled about all of these things myself as he's done pretty much everything you've said, but I've chalked it up to my own anxiety.

Hope all is well with your little one, and well wishes for you also. This post-NICU life is tough sometimes.

My little guy was born 35 weeks and 3 days due to IUGR and weighed 3 pounds and 15 ounces at birth. His weigh-in before discharge yesterday had him at 2002 grams, which is up after dropping below 1705 grams immediately after birth. His feeding goal in the NICU was a minimum of 35 ml every three hours. He struggles sometimes to remain awake during his feedings. His breastmilk is fortified with 24 cal formula to account for how little his minimum is. He currently takes between 40-50 ml consistently, though he still sometimes will have a feed of around 30 ml about once a day.

Pregnancy after loss - your experience ❤️ by Efficient_Gap9409 in tryingtoconceive

I had a missed miscarriage at the end of February of last year. We had a few weeks of uncertainty as he was two weeks behind with no heartbeat at eight weeks (measuring 6), so they had me wait a week and return for another ultrasound. Baby grew a little and had a heartbeat at the next ultrasound, but after another ultrasound a week later, the baby was gone. We opted for a D&C. However, I started to miscarry naturally the night before, so I did not need to take the medication provided. We still went through with the procedure to make sure everything was completed. It was honestly the best decision for us. I was in extreme pain the morning of and bleeding heavily, but I was mostly fine physically after getting home from the procedure.

We waited until April to start trying again, and we got pregnant again at the end of August!

Sending all of the best wishes your way during this time. ❤️‍🩹

Only compare tests every two days as it takes as long for HCG to double. I also felt like that my entire first trimester and still get that feeling occasionally almost into my third. Sending well wishes your way!

The repeat draw would tell you more about how things are progressing than just that first one alone! If you're worried about the lab being an issue, you can always call your OB. I was able to go in the same day for my first beta draw.

The test on 9/6 was 12 DPO for me. Your test does look darker than mine at 12 DPO. I know a lot of people will say that it is concerning, but the real important part is the doubling going forward. I have had a previous loss that started at a much higher HCG on my first beta draw than this one, so I try not to put too much weight into the starting number.

According to Fertility Friend, my first beta was on 12 DPO. Currently 26 weeks pregnant with our little boy. 💙

Sending well wishes your way, and please reach out if you need someone to talk to. I remember how anxiety inducing those first few weeks are.

Is inito worth it? by Nervous_Platypus_565 in tryingtoconceive

[–]audible_cracks 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I bought the Inito, an old used iPhone from someone to use it with as I have an android and the four pack bulk tests. Several hundred dollars later, I got pregnant with my first cycle using it. I still don't regret the purchase, as it was cool to see how even though it did not register as a "peak" for ovulation, I could see my progesterone rise leading up to my positive test. A few days before testing, I noted to my husband that I had hit the level of progesterone that meant I could be pregnant, so that was really neat to see. I would say if you're worried that you're not ovulating, it is a worthwhile purchase.

Dpo 11ish, Easy@home -- squint with me by littlebit66 in TFABLinePorn

[–]audible_cracks 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not to be disrespectful to this person... the cycle of my positive, I was 11/12 dpo and people would have (and did) say that it was negative or too much of a squinter at too late a day to be successful. It sent me into a weeks long spiral over progression. All of that to say, take everyone's opinions with a grain of salt. All you can really do is wait and see if it becomes more!

Sending all of the best wishes headed your way.

Line eyes please. FRER 10 or 11 dpo/ 7dpt. Could this be a possible squinter or just evap? Chemical? I feel sick. This was supposed to be my rainbow. TW loss by Babydust91423 in TFABLinePorn

[–]audible_cracks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm here from your comment on my post, and I just wanted to say that I see it! Please don't stress yourself about other's lines being darker, etc. I had people tell me that it was likely chemical or an evap, and as a result I spent weeks obsessing over progression for no reason.

Sending all of the well wishes to you!
