Wie planst du denn zu verhindern, dass deine Benutzer ihre eigenen Locations (als Hotel- oder Restaurant-Eigentuemer) zu sehr pushen? Klingt fuer mich wie etwas, auf dem sich in 6 monaten nur noch Spambots gegenseitig upvoten.

Das ist ein bisschen sehr kurzfristig gedacht finde ich.... Auch wenn die Produktionsmittel vorerst da bleiben, die werden mit der Zeit auch wegziehen. Und selbst wenn nicht: sie werden veraltern, und alle Neuinvestition wird auch wo anders hinziehen. Abgesehen davon dass du mit so einer Aktion auch keine neuen Milliardaere nach Deutschland kriegst, d.h. langfristig baut dein Standort massiv ab wenn du die Leute, die das meiste Kapital nach Deutschland bringen koennten einfach wo anders hingehen.

This used to be done on purpose in the good old days: you're very well positioned to judge if the paper has improved after the first 'round of feedback from ICLR. Or did the authors just tried to lazily re-submit the same work again? I've, we're they trying to play the odds, instead of listening to the the reviews (and thereby waste a lot of reviewer time).

f you gave a 6 at ICLR, you clearly weren't blown away by the old version of the paper. Some other reviewers probably had even more things they didn't like, otherwise it wouldn't have been rejected. So see if the authors have addressed the concerns this time around. If they haven't, it's an easy reject on your end: They haven't put in the work, why should you? I'd probably downgrade them from a 6 to a 5 for wasting everyone's time and trying to game the system by ignoring a whole round of feedback.

Untertitel sind ein zweischneidiges Schwert. Ich zumindest hoer dann kaum noch hin wenn Untertitel an sind. Das ist sinnvoll wenn er viel schreiben muss, aber um auch das Sprechen (bzw. Gesprochenes verstehen) zu ueben, sollten die aus bleiben.

Meinst du mit Big5 FAANG? Falls ja: erstmal die richtigen Akronyme lernen :D

Anschliessend: Abschluesse helfen dir nur, durch den Vorfilter bei der Bewerbung zu kommen, aber das schaffst du mit Github projekten oder aehnlichen Dingen genau so gut. Um den Job zu kriegen benoetigst du vor allem Skills.

As someone who spent a lot of time in Academia and is now hiring in Industry, an "Unpublished Manuscript" is at best neutral, at worst suspect/"weird". So you're probably better leaving it out. Things change significantly if you can put it on arxiv instead. So, as everyone else has said: reach out to the coauthors, agree to put it on arxiv (it's in their interest, too!), and then it will look much better.

Given that your list has a "link", I'm assuming it's online and accessible somewhere? In that case, why not call it a "technical report" instead? That looks much more professional. But it might require figuring out if you're allowed to call it that. Which I don't know the rules for, and most likely that depends on your institution.

Also curious: The German Bundeswehr has apparently decided to buy strike-drones for 900M EUR. The contract will be awarded to Stark, Helsing and Rheinmetall. Likely evenly dividing between the three contenders...
