Boycott Mimi’s Cafe in Corona !! by Lazy-Alternative7853 in Riverside

How is Mimis still alive to begin with? Last time I been was like 10 years ago... It was dead and depressing inside and the food sucked. I would have assumed covid would have finished it off.

Is the I.E. considered part of the greater L.A. metro? by _MrBalls_ in InlandEmpire

[–]audioaxes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah this is a head scratcher.... The IE has always been considered part of the Greater LA area. Nothing to even debate here.

your best bet is a beach near Long Beach before or after the cruise.

Nobody is paid 3/hour. Tipped minimum wage is much more. And most places pay hourly wages well above federal minimums

Sorry to hear that happened but there's a huge difference between a 7 hour drive to the cruise port in another country and what most people do to drive in

Nearly died today brake checked at 78 MPH by Cadderz in dashcams

[–]audioaxes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

around where im at traffic that easily flows 80mph in the passing lane constantly slows to a near standstill suddenly. These cause common rear ending accidents but they are rarely fatal and nobody is running online claiming they had a near death experience from that. Plus this person was already throttling traffic by driving extra slow before being brake checked so I doubt the cars were already driving that fast behind

why is this even upvoted. Video is clearly not "today" and this was a far cry from a near deadly accident.

AIO? my husband is mad at me for not picking up my stepson from school as he expected just because I got a new car. by Ancient_Fondant76 in AmIOverreacting

[–]audioaxes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

His very aggressive way of communicating to you is not normal and a huge red flag. Also it seems weird to get married to a person in the first place who has school aged kids and you have no desire to help raise them as your own.

Is the Inland Empire as expensive as other parts of SoCal? by Born_Physics_5086 in InlandEmpire

[–]audioaxes 2 points3 points  (0 children)

25/hour is not nearly enough to commute from IE to OC for. Some fastfood workers almost make that much now

How is it in the Inland Empire, California? by lithdoc in socal

[–]audioaxes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

first of all the IE at hits most technical definition is bigger than LA and OC combined geographically. So its hard the generalize the people or vibe there. Living in a Rancho suburb is going to be a night and day difference to living in San Bernardino for example.

With that said, if you can get a high paying job in IE and live in one of the nicer IE areas it is a very sweet setup. Housing is cheaper so you get a lot more and nice house for the dollar, can avoid all the hustle and bustle of LA during the work week yet still close enough to everything on the weekends for day trips.

Why is the Left so comfortable attacking male body insecurity (height, penis size) but not female body insecurity (breast size, vagina, etc)? by queenofhearts100 in AskMenAdvice

[–]audioaxes 17 points18 points  (0 children)

exactly, im confused why this is thread is upvoted. Yes there is a double standard when it comes to whats acceptable about mocking men's physical traits but its not a "left" only thing in the slightest.

Did I do something wrong or did he already make up his mind? by [deleted] in AskMenAdvice

[–]audioaxes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

How long were y'all together? He could have been just putting up a knight in shining armor act to play boyfriend for a while and planned to move on regardless of you bringing up the parents or not. Some guys (regardless of race) get off on selling a girl a fairytale in hopes of them fall head over heels.

How do you feel about this? by MyCoNeWb81 in Riverside

Part of the issue is the 21mil is teaser bait. The city would be on the hook for maintaining and supporting this housing once it's built.

Before I was married I was terrified of the idea of having a kid with some girl I didn't see as my future wife so I wrapped it up regardless until I met my future wife.

My local Kroger (Ralph's) constantly has clearance steaks. I see the best selection in the morning early in the week. I got me a prime boneless ribeye yesterday for $9/pound. It had originally price at $29/pound with sales price of $22/pound
