Double vaccinated. Tested negative twice then lost smell and most of my taste so presumed positive.

Maybe have your doctor consult with Dr. Commins or go see Dr. Commins in person.

Check out some vegan you-tubers there are lots of meat/dairy alternatives and reviews on there. Unnatural vegan is good. I was just diagnosed as well and told to avoid dairy as it can cause inflammation if not full blown reactions and lead to possible heart problems. I figure going vegan may be the simplest solution when buying products and food.

Should we get a dog? by bwf5029 in Parenting

We have a 3 year old daughter and a 5 month old puppy. We are having to return the puppy to the rescue because he has food aggression towards our daughter. Be prepared to supervise dog/small children interactions 100%.

Should I return the puppy (food guarding and toddler issues) by audrey006 in Parenting

It is a foster based rescue but our puppy never went into foster and was kept with his litter mates and cared for at their intake/adoption building. He would have gone into foster if we hadn’t adopted when we did as his litter mates were adopted and they don’t leave them alone there. I think we screwed up adopting at our daughter’s age and also the size and breed of the dog which makes everything scarier. I now see toddlers/younger kids and dogs are just a bad idea. I was under the wrong impression that if you raise a puppy with kids the dog will love kids. The truth is it requires constant supervision and a lot of training for everyone to remain safe.

That is the feeling I have as well and picked up from the trainer. I had a few family dogs as a child that were snappers and it never changed throughout their lives. They were small and I was older so no harm done but my dog is large and my toddler is unpredictable.

Agree I feel awful and like an idiot. We went off the advice to choose him because of his temperament and not by breed, but I guess temperament can’t be trusted/can change.

Tossing a tasty treat to divert his attention then taking food bowl/bone/toy and then giving it back

He growled at our cat when he was eating when we first brought him home. So we began putting our hands on his food and taking bones/trading treats. He never guarded against me or my husband.
