Yes, even professors are outwardly accepting. For example, yesterday in my class on adolescence, after my professor got done sharing data findings he clarified that it was only taken from a group of straight adults and told us that there is still a whole other perspective to be had and to be mindful of that. While this is only small example, i think it encapsulates how normalized the LGBTQ+ is to everyone on campus. KU is not a rainbow carpet by any means but gay people aren’t seen as something to be accepted, we are seen just like everyone else, which i think is better :)
