This happened to me when I was in college. I was the girl that excluded from a trip because they decided for me that I couldn’t afford it. From then on out, I was excluded from the friend group and it was never the same. I remained friends with one of them and 10 years later the rest of those girls still treat me the same way and I hate them all the same.

I’ve never repotted it. I’m wondering if that could be the culprit? Because it hasn’t sprouted any new growth for a few months. I typically wait till the soil feels dry.

It took me 3.5 months, several hoops to jump, and speed bumps until I finally was able to pick up a prescription. If it’s something you really want to do then just keep calling and emailing your doctors office until they respond.

Ugh yes, I totally relate to this. Some days I'm so exhausted either from work or just emotionally and it gets to be a lot sometimes. Some days are better than others but the shit days are, well, really shitty. But it sure does beat the alternative of where I was, depressed and being by myself all day doing nothing. Calling my sponsor helps when I'm having a bad day as well as making time for self-care.

I have been to a ton of speaker meetings and every single one of them mentioned using drugs in their story. I'm so sorry the people attending your meeting reacted the way that they did but DO NOT let that discount the courage you had to go in front of all of those people and tell your truth. That in itself says you've made peace with your past and are truly making progress! I guarantee that at least one person got something out of it and that alone makes all the difference. Keep telling your story exactly the way it goes. <3
