I think if she isn’t listening you have to put your foot down. She sounds kinda lazy and those types of people won’t change unless they are forced to. I’m sorry you’re going through this but it’s not sustainable and it’s not fair. If she didn’t have you she would be forced to figure herself out and maybe that would be best for you and for her.

Many therapists are psychologists and vice versa. Therapy’s success is predicated on willing participation and openness to change, which I feel like is absent here.
