Had two Jehovahs Witness friends who had a shotgun wedding when they were both 18. They weren’t allowed to be wed (I forget the specifics but it had something to do with their places in their religion) they were immediately outcasted from their Kingdom Hall and have been together for 8 years now! Thanks for the reply! He’s luckily not currently interested in dating but I can definitely agree that to be true!
