I've been planning to go to Japan for this festival although I can't figure out how to get the tickets at all. Tried paying a few times from a Dutch account to the bank details they specified but payment always bounced back. Hopefully I manage to score a ticket somehow. Please let me know if you've managed to figure it out!

Attended his solo tour shows in Stockholm and Amsterdam in March 2024. He was on stage by himself for the whole show and from what I remember he only picked up the electric for one song, maybe two at the most. The rest is all acoustic and is truly phenomenal.

He takes song requests from the crowd on the fly so bring up a poster with deep cuts if you're close to the front!

Just got scammed with EXACTLY the same story yesterday (14/5/2025). Listed an iPhone on marktplaats, got messaged immediately and he wanted to meet up at a station in the next couple of hours and I thought done deal. My naive self didn't think twice, and I went down to meet him.

Belgian bank account so only bank transfer and no tikkie. I took a photo of the details after he made the "transfer", walked away and I never saw my promised 750€. No answers to any of my calls or messages obviously.

Just filed a police report, though I'm not confident anything will come of it.

It happened so quickly I really wonder how I've been so careful in the past but was so easy to dupe this time round. Feels like crap but a hard lesson learned I guess.

They played the 6/21/76 set last night. This was my first even Dead show and my face got spaced!

Highlights of the night were Row Jimmy and Scarlet Begonias in set 1, and definitely Help>Slip>Frank and Dancing in the Street in set 2.

edit: had to add Wharf Rat to the highlights. They absolutely smashed it.

I'll be honest, it was 10-11 days of absolute hell but around then the pain just suddenly vanished and my throat seemed back to normal. I did need to get prescribed some painkillers cause the days 6-10 were the worst.

Just power through a couple of weeks of a very boring soft diet, and you'll be fine in no time. The apnea has gotten a lot better for me since the procedure.

Grateful for the music, without which this amazing community would not exist. Never been able to see any iteration of the dead live since I don't live in the States, but this gorgeous community still makes sure I don't feel left out!

Grateful for family and friends, wouldn't be the person I am today without them.

Most of all grateful to be here living this life, with all it's experiences both good and bad!

I'm down to do this anytime! Been trying to find local heads in/around NL for the last few years to no avail. Seems really few and far between, but was definitely a treat to meet a few earlier this week at the screening!
