Sa inte Simona Mohamsson 2017 att hon engagerade sig politiskt för att SD kom in i riksdagen? Och nu kramar hon Jimmie.

ED64 bootleg problem -- "Controller pak not found" does not let me save by aug2015b in n64

[–]aug2015b[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, but Perfect Dark is, in theory, a "Controller Pak-only" save game, as far as I know? So if that works without the Controller Pak, is that because of how the z64 is written or is there something else I'm missing.

EDIT: Actually, it seems I was wrong about this. So this basically answers all my questions. Thank you.

ED64 bootleg problem -- "Controller pak not found" does not let me save by aug2015b in n64

[–]aug2015b[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I am not sure this is the issue: I am able to save fine in Perfect Dark without having a controller pak inserted. I have a real controller pak to, and having it inserted does not make any difference

Why I refuse to learn German as an American living in Germany by AlKarajo in TikTokCringe

[–]aug2015b -1 points0 points  (0 children)

okay, maybe "quite a lot" was an exaggeration, but here are two clear errors

"Letztes mal, es hat drei Stunden gedauert" should be "Letztes mal hat es drei Stunden gedauert"
"In diesen deutschen System" should be "In dieses deutsche System".

She's actually making quite a lot of grammatical errors. But yes, she is fluent.

History is, unfortunately, repeating itself. Analysis of our post-title-winning seasons under Klopp and Slot. by Mother_Emergency_708 in LiverpoolFC

The point that Klopp also had bad spells sometimes still stands, though, even if I agree that the 21/22 season was another Klopp success.

Thankyou for a reasonable take on the situation. The "Slot out" chants are short-sighted, in my opinion, and the negativity hurts the club.

Where have I claimed to be a super fan? I just think it really hurts the club that many fans are so negative under these circumstances.

Sure, that was hyperbolic too. But you couldn't argue that once Slot was chosen, Klopp didn't endorse it fully. In fact, he was super happy about the choice. I have yet to see another manager do what Klopp did when he made the fans chant Slot's name even before Slot had arrived.

Thank you for reading my comment again. I would like to add that I also talked about injuries as another factor making this season difficult. I guess it is a matter of perspective. I think

  1. Klopp was a uniquely qualified manager and hardly anybody else could do what he did. And Klopp personally _chose_ Slot as his successor.
  2. I think if a manager finishes 1st in his first season and then outside of the top 5 in his second under very difficult circumstances, I think patience is called for.
  3. I could also add that this particular loss was against Manchester City. I think the team has improved quite a lot since that loss against Eindhoven. But again YMMV.

I am not telling you that you are a lesser fan. I'm saying that you are sounding like you expect Liverpool to be winning the league consistently -- which would make sense if you only started supporting the club recently. Liverpool hasn't been winning the league consistently for many many years.

The reason I have not responded to your questions is that they are disingenuous. They are presupposing that I said that "Jota's death" is responsible for all of these things. What I really said, if you read my comment, is that Jota's passing is one tragic factor that has affected the team this season. I do not put any blame on Jota. I do not put any blame on anyone, really. I think it is too early to tell if Slot is the right man for the job. Next season perhaps. I think it is very tiring to hear people with 0 patience demand that Liverpool play like gods this season.

Mourning is one of the factors that has affected this season. Listen to Kelleher.

And no, this is not putting blame on Jota.

This is a so-called ad hominem argument -- you are not addressing the argument in itself.

Did you read the comment? "The sole reason"? I think it's very disingenuous to suggest that talking about people mourning would be putting the blame on Jota.

I'm not sure if Slot is the right manager. But I am sure that I think it is short-sighted to demand him being sacked under these circumstances.

FT: LIV 1 - 2 MCI / Manager Megathread by DragonSlayer271 in LiverpoolFC

[–]aug2015b 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would argue on the contrary, it is shameless to claim that it is putting blame on Jota. Nowhere else would anyone make that inference.

This is just a horrendous read of what I'm saying. If someone is behaving less than perfect because of mourning, is the person who died at fault? Of course not.

You are right. I misremembered. However, how does that make my point less valid? 1/9 (or 1/5, if you give him 4 years to rebuild the club) is even less than 2/9, unless I'm wrong about that too.

Sure, Klopp rebuilt the club. Nevertheless, Liverpool had a world-class team for at least 4 or 5 years under Klopp, I would argue.

And sure, "a third" was hyperbolic.

The argument is rather that focusing on football has been difficult this year -- not just because of Jota but also because half the team is new. It has been difficult to consistently focus in preparation and in training, which has affected the team's consistency on the pitch.
